HOLLOW BOARD
The present disclosure relates to a hollow board 1 with first and second main surface layers 3, 5. A plurality of distance elements connecting the first and second main surface layers and maintain a predetermined distance there between. The main surface layers include at least a layer of high-density fiber, HDF, board, and a plurality of distance elements are distributed in the space between the main surface layers, and at least some comprise at least one elongate HDF board strip 15 which is oriented such that its longitudinal edges interconnect the first and second main surface layers 3, 5. The HDF boards of the surface layers and of the at least some of the distance elements comprise wood particles bonded by a resin including an isocyanate, such as methylene diphenyl di-isocyanate, MDI.
Hollow panel furniture
A hollow table top comprises a top plate and a bottom plate stacked together. The edge of the bottom surface of the table top is disposed with a metal frame. The edge of the top plate is disposed with a downwardly extending top plate side. The metal frame is disposed with a protruding portion in the horizontal direction extending out of the top plate side. The protruding portion protects the joint of the top plate and the bottom plate. The external edge of the table top has double-layer appearance.
FURNITURE PANEL
The present invention relates to a furniture panel, in particular furniture front, the panel having a carrier panel (T) and a cover (200). The cover has a space in which the carrier panel is accommodated, the space and the carrier panel being dimensioned such that the cover can be slipped over the carrier panel and fixed in its slipped-on position on the carrier panel by a force fit and/or form fit.
LAMINATED COUNTERTOP ASSEMBLY
A laminated countertop assembly can include a first generally longitudinal slab with a first substrate, where the first substrate has lamination on a countertop side of the first substrate and lamination on an edge side of the first substrate that extends along a first portion of a length of the edge side of the first substrate. The first substrate can also include a first miter cut angled into the first substrate and slots extending into the first substrate for receiving biscuits. The laminated countertop assembly can also include a second generally longitudinal slab with a second substrate, where the second substrate has lamination on a countertop side of the second substrate and lamination on an edge side of the second substrate. The second substrate can also include a second miter cut at a corner of the second substrate and slots extending into the second substrate for receiving the biscuits.
WALL FOR A PIECE OF FURNITURE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUCH A WALL, AND FURNITURE BODY OR PIECE OF FURNITURE HAVING SUCH A WALL
A method for producing a wall for a piece of furniture involves providing two panel-form core halves, of which at least one has at least one aperture extending only along a portion of a side surface of the core half. A fitting or fitting housing is inserted into the at least one aperture and the two core halves are joining together to form a composite element enclosing the fitting or fitting housing. Side surfaces of the two core halves are located one upon the other. A narrow-surface coating is applied to at least one end surface of the composite element, the end surface being oriented transversely to the side surface. An opening is formed in a portion of the at least one end surface. The opening extends as far as the fitting, or the fitting housing.
COMPOSED ELEMENT AND CORNER CONNECTION APPLIED HEREWITH
A composed element includes at least two panel-shaped elements, such as a locking tongue and groove connection, that are arranged to be coupled to each other at an angle, either directly or indirectly by means of an intermediate piece. The connection includes, at least at one of the panel-shaped elements, a tongue or groove, cooperable with a groove or tongue provided on the other panel-shaped element or on the intermediate piece. The tongue includes a split tongue, with at least a first part and a second part, and a slit located therebetween. A locking part is located at the outer side of at least said first part wherein the slit, seen in cross-section of the tongue, defines at least one side, the course of which, seen in cross-section, deviates from the main direction belonging to the tongue.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A COVER FOR A FURNITURE PANEL
The present invention relates to a method for producing a cover for a furniture panel, in particular for a furniture front, wherein the method comprises the following steps: a) laminating a carrier material with a covering, b) removing the corners of the covering, c) draping the protruding edges of the covering over the carrier material, d) bending the edge of the carrier material, e) draping the edges of the covering inwards, i.e. towards the carrier material, with step e) preferably taking place at the same time as step d).
TABLE WITH PORCELAIN-ENAMELED STEEL TABLETOP
The table with a porcelain-enameled steel tabletop provides a magnetic, erasable writing surface directly on the tabletop. The tabletop is defined by opposed upper and lower surfaces and a peripheral side edge, and is formed from porcelain-enameled steel. The porcelain-enameled steel may include a steel layer, having opposed upper and lower surfaces, and a porcelain layer enameled on the upper surface of the steel layer. The porcelain layer defines the upper surface of the tabletop, providing the magnetic, erasable writing surface. At least one leg is secured to the lower surface of the tabletop and extends downwardly therefrom. A protective strip may be secured to, and cover, the peripheral side edge of the tabletop. The protective strip may further be secured to, and cover, a portion of the upper surface of the tabletop and a portion of the lower surface of the tabletop.
MOISTURE RESISTANT CABINETS AND VANITIES
A fixture and method for making the same. The fixture may be a bathroom vanity comprising a base cabinet constructed from a plurality of boards formed from plastic material comprising a base plastic component, a calcium-zinc based stabilizer, a foaming agent, and calcium carbonate. The plastic material is formed into sheets that may be substantially flat or curved and that may be of varying thickness or of uniform thickness. The formed sheets are then cut into boards for assembly using traditional joinery methods. A top may be attached to the base cabinet, and the top may comprise a countertop with one or more sinks.
