COMPOSITION AND MOLDED ARTICLE
A composition including a fluorine-containing polymer and a silicon-containing compound, wherein the phosphorus content in the composition is 20 ppm or less. Also disclosed is a molded article obtained from the composition, and a second composition containing a fluorine-containing polymer and a silicon-containing polymer, wherein a content of an amide solvent in the composition is less than 1000 ppm.
GAS SEPARATION ARTICLES COMPOSED OF AMORPHOUS CROSSLINKED FLUORINATED COPOLYMERS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THEREOF
Described herein are articles for separating gases. The article includes a selective layer consisting of a crosslinked amorphous fluorinated copolymer containing one or more types of fluorinated ring monomers, with crosslinking between the fluorinated copolymer chains. The crosslinking improves the mechanical properties of the fluoropolymer, thereby permitting use of polymer types which would otherwise be excessively brittle. The resulting crosslinked polymer membranes have superior selectivity and reliability performance compared with previous compositions known to the art. Methods for making and using the article described are also provided.
PRINTABLE DISPERSION WITH TUNABLE VISCOSITY
A copolymer of polytetrafluoroethylene and a perfluoro acid (e.g., Nafion™) is neutralized by a base to yield its corresponding salt, and a high-boiling-point compatible solvent is used as a substituting solvent, with the original, low-boiling-point solvent being removed by rotor evaporation. The resulting dispersion is screen printable, and its viscosity is controllable by adjusting its solids content. This screen-printable salt dispersion is especially useful in printed electronics applications such as sensors.
Fluorocopolymers for coating applications
Disclosed are copolymers formed by copolymerization of: (1) one or more hydrofluoroolefin monomer(s) selected from the group consisting of hydrofluoroethylenes, hydrofluoropropenes, hydrofluorobutenes, hydrofluoropentenes and combinations of these, and preferably selected from 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, with said 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene preferably comprising, consisting essentially of or consisting of trans-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, and combinations of these, and (2) one or more chlorofluoroethylene monomers, preferably chlorotrifluoroethylene (“CTFE”) monomers, wherein the mole ratio of monomer (1) to monomer (2) is preferably from about 30:1 to about 1:30.
SURFACE TREATMENT AGENT
A composition containing a (A) fluoropolyether group-containing polymer and a (B) siloxane polymer, wherein the fluoropolyether group-containing polymer is a copolymer represented by the following formula (1) or (2):
