Polyether block amide-poly(meth)acrylate foams
A mixture contains at least one polyether block amide (PEBA) and at least one poly(meth)acrylate, selected from poly(meth)acrylimides, poly-alkyl(meth)acrylates, and mixtures thereof. The mass ratio of PEBA to poly(meth)acrylate is 95:5 to 60:40. The polyalkyl(meth)acrylate contains 80% by weight to 99% by weight of methyl methacrylate (MMA) units and 1% by weight to 20% by weight of C1-C10-alkyl acrylate units, based on the total weight of polyalkyl(meth)acrylate. The mixture can be processed to give foamed mouldings. The mouldings can he used in footwear soles, stud material, insulation or insulating material, damping components, lightweight components, or in a sandwich structure.
COATING LIQUID FOR RESIST PATTERN COATING
There is provided a new coating liquid for resist pattern coating. A coating liquid for resist pattern coating comprising a component A that is a polymer including at least one hydroxy group or carboxy group; a component B that is a sulfonic acid of A-SO.sub.3H (where A is a linear or branched alkyl group or fluorinated alkyl group having a carbon atom number of 1 to 16, an aromatic group having at least one of the alkyl group or the fluorinated alkyl group as a substituent, or a C.sub.4-16 alicyclic group optionally having a substituent); and a component C that is an organic solvent capable of dissolving the polymer and including ether or ketone compound of R.sup.1—O—R.sup.2 and/or R.sup.1—C(═O)—R.sup.2 (where R.sup.1 is a linear, branched, or cyclic alkyl group or fluorinated alkyl group having a carbon atom number of 3 to 16; and R.sup.2 is a linear, branched, or cyclic alkyl group or fluorinated alkyl group having a carbon atom number of 1 to 16), a method of forming a resist pattern using the coating liquid, and a method for forming a reverse pattern using the coating liquid.

Intracellular delivery vehicle
An intracellular delivery vehicle of which surface is covered by a positive charge, an intracellular delivery complex in which a component or compound desired is loaded in the intracellular delivery vehicle, a temperature-sensitive probe comprising the intracellular delivery complex, and a method for measuring the intracellular temperature by the temperature-sensitive probe are disclosed. The intracellular delivery vehicle is useful on account of its capability of easily delivering the component or compound desired inside the cell without inhibiting cell proliferation.

RESIST COMPOSITION AND PATTERN FORMING PROCESS
A resist composition is provided comprising a polymer comprising recurring units (a) having a succinimide structure and recurring units (b) containing a group capable of polarity switch with the aid of acid. The resist composition suppresses acid diffusion, exhibits a high resolution, and forms a pattern of satisfactory profile with low edge roughness.
POLYHYDROXYALKYLAMIDE MATERIALS FOR USE AS CROSSLINKERS
A polyhydroxyalkylamide material having the formula (I), wherein Z represents a polymer or an alkylene, alkenylene, alkynylene or arylene group; Z′ represents a bivalent organic linking group; m is 0 or 1; X represents a bivalent organic bridging group; R represents a hydroxyalkylamide group; and n is at least 2. The present invention extends to coatings compositions containing the polyhydroxyalkylamide material and articles coated with coatings derived from said coated compositions.

TALC-FILLED POLYCARBONATE COMPOSITIONS
The invention relates to the use of PMMI copolymers for reducing the decrease in molecular weight of the polymer induced by addition of talc in compositions based on aromatic polycarbonate. At the same time, the mechanical, optical and rheological properties of the thermoplastic composition, in spite of the addition of the PMMI copolymer, remain good and are in some cases even improved.
