A foldable easel blank includes a main panel defining a first side and a second side, the first side positioned opposite from the second side, the main panel defining a locking aperture extending through the main panel from a front main surface to a rear main surface; a support panel hingedly connected to the main panel, the support panel defining a locking tab configured to engage the locking aperture; a first side panel hingedly connected to the first side of the main panel by a first side hinge; a second side panel hingedly connected to the second side of the main panel by a second side hinge; and a base panel positioned between the first side hinge and the second side hinge, the base panel configured to engage the first side panel and the second side panel to form a base stand.

An etching easel apparatus includes an easel backboard having a board front side, a board back side, and connecting edges that, together, define a recessed area. A bottom lip is coupled to the board bottom edge of the easel backboard portion and extends perpendicularly from the board front side and laterally between the left and right edges. A top lip is pivotally coupled to the board top edge of the easel backboard portion and extends perpendicularly from the board front side. The top lip is configured to secure an etching plate against the board front side and the bottom lip. A wall mount is coupled to the board back side of the easel backboard portion and has a pair of mounting apertures configured to receive hardware inserted into a wall. The apparatus includes a height adjustable table stand configured to support the backboard.

An etching easel apparatus includes an easel backboard having a board front side, a board back side, and connecting edges that, together, define a recessed area. A bottom lip is coupled to the board bottom edge of the easel backboard portion and extends perpendicularly from the board front side and laterally between the left and right edges. A top lip is pivotally coupled to the board top edge of the easel backboard portion and extends perpendicularly from the board front side. The present invention relates generally to a repositionable and handheld easel of lightweight composition, and that is removably attachable to a painting canvas frame without interfering with any paintable portion of the canvas. The handheld easel is also adjustable in size to accommodate virtually any size of handheld canvas frame, and allows the painting surface to be rotated in relation to the artists hand to enable the artist to achieve a specific brush stroke while the handheld easel remains in the artist's hand.

An example modular artist studio easel system includes a first mast member pivotally attached to first base member, and a second mast member pivotally attached to a second base member. Support arms are attached between the base members and the mast members. Cross members are slidably connected between the first mast member and the second mast member to adjust a width between the first mast member and the second mast member. A first back support is mounted to the first mast member, and a second back support is mounted to the second mast member, for supporting at least one canvas thereon. A first upper edge support and a first lower edge are mounted on the second back support. A second upper edge support and a second lower edge are mounted on the second back support.

An example modular artist studio easel system includes a first mast member pivotally attached to first base member, and a second mast member pivotally attached to a second base member. Support arms are attached between the base members and the mast members. Cross members are slidably connected between the first mast member and the second mast member to adjust a width between the first mast member and the second mast member. A first back support is mounted to the first mast member, and a second back support is mounted to the second mast member, for supporting at least one canvas thereon. Each of the center front panel and the center rear panel may include a pair of flaps configured to removably secure a sign. The easel may also have a presentation configuration and an unfolded configuration. When the easel is in the presentation configuration, the easel may form an A-frame structure, and when the easel is in the unfolded configuration, the center front panel and the center rear panel may be arranged substantially parallel to each other.
