Embodiments of the invention are directed to quick-assembly, articulating easel that moves from a planar orientation to an extended orientation with minimal manual manipulation. The easel components are movably interconnected, both in a compressed position during storage and in an extended position after assembly. The opposing writing surfaces of the easel may be oriented in upward positions parallel to the upward-facing bottom tray when in the compressed and/or disassembled position. Based on disengaging at least a portion of the interconnected easel components, such as by raising at least a portion of the easel components in an upward direction, the opposing writing surfaces may then be shifted in orientation to provide outward-facing writing surfaces in the assembled easel position. The articulating legs may then follow an arcuate curvature in travel between the various positions.

An adjustable frame configured to support a display unit includes a support and an adjustable stand. The support is configured to mount the display unit thereon. The adjustable stand is fixed to the support. The adjustable stand includes an adjustable leg coupled to the adjustable stand. The adjustable leg includes a first leg and a second leg.

The first leg and the second leg are movable relative to each other. The adjustable leg has an opened position and a closed position. When the adjustable leg is in the opened position, at least one of the first leg and the second leg extends outwardly relative to the adjustable stand. When the adjustable leg is in the closed position, at least one of the first leg and the second leg is retracted inwardly relative to the adjustable stand.

A multi-positional easel allows for a wider range of motion for a work platform, accommodating both seated and standing positions, as well as full tilt and rotation of the work platform. The characteristics of this easel consist of a work platform that can expand to hold various sizes of canvas or other work pieces. These work pieces are held in place by four adjustable points, two on each side. A free standing three-point wheeled base has a single adjustable vertical post. Attached to that post is a multi-positional armature assembly that allows for more flexibility in the positioning of the work platform. Once the work piece is held in place on the work platform, the work platform can be rotated in a plane in a full 360-degrees, as well as a free range of motion of tilt from a horizontal plane to a vertical plane.

A carrying case for wet canvas. The carrying case includes a base having a sidewall extending perpendicularly away therefrom, thereby defining an interior volume. A lid is securable to the sidewall, such that the lid encloses the interior volume when secured thereto. A tension bar is disposed on the base within the interior volume, wherein the tension bar can telescopically move between an extended position and a retracted position. A linear distance between a first side of the tension bar and a second side of the tension bar is greater when in the extended position. The first and second ends are designed to frictionally engage an interior surface of a canvas frame, thereby maintaining a position of the canvas within the interior volume such that an exterior of the canvas is preserved.

A carrying case for wet canvas. The carrying case includes a base having a sidewall extending perpendicularly away therefrom, thereby defining an interior volume. A lid is securable to the sidewall, such that the lid encloses the interior volume when secured thereto. A tension bar is disposed on the base within the interior volume, wherein the tension bar can telescopically move between an extended position and a retracted position. A linear distance between a first side of the tension bar and a second side of the tension bar is greater when in the extended position. The first and second ends are designed to frictionally engage an interior surface of a canvas frame, thereby maintaining a position of the canvas within the interior volume such that an exterior of the canvas is preserved.

An easel for use in the quilting art is provided. The easel has a design board has a front, working surface upon which a person who is creating a quilt may compose a quilt block from individual pieces of fabric. Either extending from, or attached to a back surface of the design board, the easel has a selectively collapsible, support assembly. Two selectively pivotable legs and a rib of the support assembly allow the easel to be stored or transported in a substantially flat condition and/or erected into a substantially standing position when in use. A woven, preferably, microfiber fabric sized to fit around and cover the front, working surface of the design board, is also provided. The fabric being selectively removable and able to be laundered. A storage case is included.

An easel for use in the quilting art is provided. The easel has a design board has a front, working surface upon which a person who is creating a quilt may compose a quilt block from individual pieces of fabric. Either extending from, or attached to a back surface of the design board, the easel has a selectively collapsible, support assembly. A collectable mounting device is configurable to a wall-mounted configuration, and a horizontal support surface (or shelf) mounted configuration. In the wall-mounted configuration, support members are secured together via a fastener through the adjustment slots such that support channels extend in the same direction to support the collectable on a wall. In the shelf-mounted configuration, the support members are fastened together such that the support channels extend in opposite directions, and a tensioning member is inserted between the support members in opposed tensioning member receiving slots to flex the support members away from each other. A method of using a collectable mounting device comprises the steps of configuring the support members in a first configuration for supporting a collectable on a wall and a second configuration for supporting a collectable on a horizontal surface.

A foldable easel with a lighting system includes a foldable frame, a left light fixture, and a right light fixture. The foldable frame includes a rear central rail, a right front rail, a left front rail, a plate, and a cross brace assembly. Three rails are hingedly connected to each other with the plate and the cross brace assembly that is centrally positioned to the foldable frame. The plate and the cross brace assembly foldably secure the rear central rail, the left front rail, and the right front rail. The left and right light fixtures are detachably mounted to the foldable frame. The left and right light fixtures are powered through a power supply system and selectively controlled by a user to direct illumination towards a painting or portrait that is held within the foldable frame.
