GRAFTING-MODIFIED POLYPROPYLENE MATERIAL AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
The invention belongs to the field of polymers, and relates to a grafting-modified polypropylene material for an insulating material and preparation method thereof. The grafting-modified polypropylene material comprises structural units derived from a polypropylene copolymer and structural units derived from an alkenyl-containing polymerizable monomer; the content of the structural units derived from the alkenyl-containing polymerizable monomer and in a grafted state in the grafting-modified polypropylene material is 0.1 to 14 wt %; the polypropylene copolymer has at least one of the following characteristics: the comonomer content is 0.5 to 40 mol %; the content of xylene solubles is 2 to 80 wt %; the comonomer content in the xylene solubles is 10 to 70 wt %; the intrinsic viscosity ratio of the xylene solubles to the polypropylene copolymer is 0.3 to 5. The grafting-modified polypropylene material of the invention can give consideration to both mechanical property and electrical property at a higher working temperature.

The invention belongs to the field of polymers, and relates to an anhydride group-containing polypropylene graft for an insulating material and preparation method thereof. The anhydride group-containing polypropylene graft comprises structural units derived from a polypropylene copolymer, structural units derived from an anhydride monomer and structural units derived from an alkenyl-containing polymerizable monomer; the content of the structural units derived from the anhydride monomer and the alkenyl-containing polymerizable monomer and in a grafted state in the anhydride group-containing polypropylene graft is 0.1 to 5 wt %, based on the weight of the anhydride group-containing polypropylene graft; and, the molar ratio of the structural units derived from the anhydride monomer to the structural units derived from the alkenyl-containing polymerizable monomer in the anhydride group-containing polypropylene graft is 1:1-20; the polypropylene copolymer has at least one of the following characteristics: the comonomer content is 0.5 to 40 mol %; the content of xylene solubles is 2 to 80 wt %; the comonomer content in the xylene solubles is 10 to 70 wt %; the intrinsic viscosity ratio of the xylene solubles to the polypropylene copolymer is 0.3 to 5. BRANCHED POLYPROPYLENE FOR FOAM APPLICATIONS
The present invention relates to a polypropylene composition comprising a branched polypropylene (b-PP) having high melt strength (HMS). Furthermore, the present invention also relates to a method for providing the corresponding polypropylene having composition comprising the branched polypropylene (b-PP) and to a foam with the polypropylene composition comprising the branched polypropylene (b-PP). The branched polypropylene (b-PP) is based on a random copolymer with a small amount of ethylene.

The present invention relates to a polypropylene composition comprising a branched polypropylene (b-PP) having high melt strength (HMS). Furthermore, the present invention also relates to a method for providing the corresponding polypropylene having composition comprising the branched polypropylene (b-PP) and to a foam with the polypropylene composition comprising the branched polypropylene (b-PP). The branched polypropylene (b-PP) is based on a random copolymer with a small amount of ethylene.
Highly functional graft copolymer and method for preparing the same
This invention relates to a highly functional graft copolymer and a method of preparing the same, and more particularly, to a highly functional graft copolymer including a main chain of a highly elastic ethylene-based terpolymer including, at a predetermined molar ratio, an ethylene unit, an α-olefin unit having 6 to 12 carbon atoms, and at least one functional unit selected from the group consisting of divinylbenzene and p-methylstyrene, and a side chain of a polar polymer for imparting functionality, and to a method of preparing the highly functional graft copolymer by performing anionic polymerization after catalytic polymerization using a metallocene catalyst.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND LAMINATE WITH ADHESIVE LAYER USING SAME
An adhesive composition, which exhibits excellent adhesion to base films made from polyimide resins and the like or copper foils, as well as superior electrical properties, and a laminate having an adhesive layer, which is low in warpage when the adhesive layer is in the B stage, and which is excellent in storage stability of the laminate, are provided. The adhesive composition includes a modified polyolefin-based resin and an epoxy resin, in which the modified polyolefin-based resin is a resin resulting from graft-modification of an unmodified olefin resin with a modifying agent containing an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid or derivative thereof, wherein the content of the modified polyolefin-based resin is 50 parts by mass or more relative to 100 parts by mass of the solid content of the adhesive composition; the content of the epoxy resin is from 1 to 20 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the modified polyolefin-based resin; and the dielectric constant of a cured body of the adhesive is less than 2.5 as measured at a frequency of 1 GHz.

MODIFIED POLYOLEFIN PARTICLES AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
An object of the invention is to provide modified polyolefin particles which have a satisfactory amount of grafting and a sufficient molecular weight, are substantially free from gels, and exhibit excellent handleability and workability when shaped or mixed with various resins. The particles include a modified polyolefin obtained by grafting a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated group and a polar functional group in the same molecule to a polymer including one, or two or more α-olefins selected from C.sub.2-18 α-olefins and having a melting point of not less than 50° C. and less than 250° C., the modified polyolefin particles satisfying the following requirements (1) to (3): (1) the amount of grafting x by the monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated group and a polar functional group in the same molecule is not less than 0.5 wt % and not more than 20 wt %; (2) the amount of grafting x (wt %) and the intrinsic viscosity [i](dl/g) measured in decalin at 135° C. satisfy the relation: log.sub.10[η]≧0.1−0.15x; and (3) the particles have a gel content of less than 1 wt %.
