To suppress peeling off of a polymer coating in a polymer member formed to have the polymer coating provided on a surface of a polymer shaped object, performed are: a curing step of causing a curable composition to be cured by energy rays to prepare the polymer shaped object; a coating step of forming the polymer coating on the polymer shaped object; and a post-curing step of irradiating the polymer shaped object with the energy rays after the coating step, wherein, in the curing step, the polymer shaped object in which a reactive functional group is left is prepared.

A radiation-curable resin composition for formation of a primary covering layer of an optical fiber, comprising a urethane oligomer, a polymerization initiator and a free-radically polymerizable non-urethane monomer, the urethane oligomer being the reaction product of a polyether-based urethane prepolymer and an isocyanate reactive compound containing one active hydrogen group, the isocyanate reactive compound containing an aliphatic alcohol and an ethylenic unsaturated group-containing isocyanate reactive compound, and the aliphatic alcohol content in the isocyanate reactive compound being 24 mol % or higher.
FOAMABLE RESIN COMPOSITION
A foamable resin composition comprising: (meth)acrylate oligomer, which accounts for 10-40 wt % of the foamable resin composition; (meth)acrylate monomer, which accounts for 35-80 wt % of the foamable resin composition; a photocuring initiator, which accounts for 1-5 wt % of the foamable resin composition; and a foaming agent, which accounts for 3-20 wt % of the foamable resin composition; wherein the foamable resin composition has a specific gravity of 0.10-1.05 g/cm.sup.3 after photocuring and thermal foam expansion for 15-20 minutes at 120 C. The aforementioned foamable resin composition can become a low specific gravity (0.10-1.05 g/cm.sup.3) material after photocuring and thermal foam expansion, then can expand the application in 3D printing, and manufacture of plastic products, such as shoe soles, coasters, floats, various types of protective gear and the like.
Optical fiber
The optical fiber comprises a glass fiber comprising a core and a cladding, a primary resin layer in contact with the glass fiber and covering the glass fiber, and a secondary resin layer covering the primary resin layer, wherein the primary resin layer contains a cured product of a resin composition containing a urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer, a monomer, a photopolymerization initiator and an aromatic acid compound, a content of the aromatic acid compound is 20 ppm or more and 12000 ppm or less based on a total amount of the resin composition, and Young's modulus of the primary resin layer is 0.6 MPa or less at 23 C.2 C.

A photo-curable composition can include a photo-curable resin and a photoinitiator. The photo-curable composition can typically include a (meth)acrylate-terminated prepolymer, a second prepolymer, and a reactive diluent.

An anti-fogging and anti-fouling laminate including: a substrate; and an anti-fogging and anti-fouling layer on the substrate, the anti-fogging and anti-fouling layer having a flat surface, wherein a hexadecane contact angle of the anti-fogging and anti-fouling layer is 10 or less, the anti-fogging and anti-fouling layer is a cured product of an active energy ray-curable resin composition, and the active energy ray-curable resin composition includes a hydrophilic monomer.
