THERMOSETTING RESIN COMPOSITION
Provided is a thermosetting resin composition which exhibits excellent workability, and which is capable of obtaining, as a result of being cured, a highly reliable cured product (molded article) exhibiting excellent heat resistance and mechanical strength. This thermosetting resin composition includes: a polyalkenyl phenol resin (A); an aromatic polymaleimide compound (B); and a polymerization initiator (C). The polyalkenyl phenol resin (A) has, in a molecule thereof, at least one aromatic ring unit (al) which has a phenolic hydroxyl group having a 2-alkenyl group bonded thereto, and at least one aromatic ring unit (a2) having a phenolic hydroxyl group which does not have a 2-alkenyl group bonded thereto. Each of the aromatic ring units is bonded by a linking group having a main chain which is not formed by an aromatic ring. When m represents the number of the aromatic ring units (a1), and n represents the number of the aromatic ring units (a2), the ratio of m to (m+n) is 40-90%. The polyalkenyl phenol resin (A) is included in an amount at which the amount of 2-alkenyl groups becomes 0.4-1.5 mol per mol of maleimide groups in the aromatic polymaleimide compound (B).
PHOTOCURABLE COMPOSITION, CURED PRODUCT FORMED FROM PHOTOCURABLE COMPOSITION, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAID CURED PRODUCT
The present invention provides a photocured product having both excellent toughness and high strength, and also provides a photocurable composition for forming said photocured product. The present invention provides a photocurable composition comprising: A. a (meth) acrylic acid ester monomer, wherein the glass transition temperature of a polymer formed from only said monomer is 20° C. or higher; B. a polyrotaxane obtained by respectively placing blocking groups at both ends of a pseudo-polyrotaxane, which is obtained by threading a linear molecule through the hole of a cyclic molecule, so as not to release the cyclic molecule, wherein the cyclic molecule has a (meth) acrylic group; and C. a photopolymerization initiator. The present invention also provides a photocured product formed from said composition.

Thermoplastic urethane resin molded product
A resin molded product includes: (I) a thermoplastic urethane resin: 80 to 99.9% by weight; and (II) a silicone acrylic graft copolymer resin: 0.1 to 20% by weight, the silicone acrylic graft copolymer resin comprising: (A) an organopolysiloxane represented by the specific formula; and (B) an acrylic ester unit or a methacrylic ester unit, wherein a weight ratio of these components is (A):(B)=50:50 to 90:10.

COMB POLYMERS AS BLOCKING ADDITIVES FOR SWELLING CLAYS
A comb polymer, in particular for use as a clay-inerting agent, including: a) at least one poly(alkylene oxide) side chain-bearing monomer unit M1 without ionic groups, b) optionally at least one cationic monomer unit MC, c) optionally at least one anionic monomer unit MA, d) optionally, at least one non-ionic monomer unit M3, wherein the molar ratio of the cationic monomer units MC to the side chain-bearing monomer units M1 is equal to or less than 10, the molar ratio of the anionic monomer units MA to the side chain-bearing monomer units M1 is less than 1, preferably equal to or less than 0.5, and the molar ratio of the non-ionic monomer units M3 to the side chain-bearing monomer units M1 is less than 5.
(Meth)acrylic-modified silicone macromonomer
The present invention aims to provide a (meth)acrylic-modified silicone macromonomer, which may be used as a raw material for a (meth)acrylic copolymer capable of forming a coating having excellent antifouling properties and surface smoothness. A (meth)acrylic-modified silicone macromonomer of formula (b1) is provided, which has 1 to 80 branches attached to a linear polysiloxane backbone and the branch has a (poly)oxyalkylene structure of the formula —(C.sub.aH.sub.2aO).sub.b— and a (meth)acryloyl group at a terminal. The (meth)acrylic-modified silicone macromonomer is a raw material for a polymer used in an antifouling paint.

Provided is (1) a radically polymerizable polyether which imparts excellent mechanical properties including excellent transparency, a high degree of elongation at break and high bending strength to a copolymer produced by the radical polymerization of a radically polymerizable monomer, and a method for producing the radically polymerizable polyether; (2) a polymerizable composition comprising the radically polymerizable polyether and a radically polymerizable vinyl monomer, which enables the formation of a copolymer having excellent mechanical properties; and (3) a copolymer, a molded article and a film, each of which comprises the copolymer.
ONE-PART ANAEROBICALLY CURABLE COMPOSITIONS
Disclosed herein are anaerobically curable compositions comprising one or more polymerizable (meth)acrylate ester monomers, a redox-active metal catalyst, saccharin or a saccharin derivative, a peroxide, and a benzoyl functionalized compound, wherein the composition does not gel after about 24 hours of storage at room temperature and methods of adhering two substrates using the anaerobically curable compositions.

According to the present invention, an ultraviolet curable silicone composition for stereolithography, which contains (A) an organopolysiloxane that has two groups represented by formula (1) ##STR00001##
(wherein each R.sup.1 independently represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1-20 carbon atoms; R.sup.2 represents an oxygen atom or the like; R.sup.3 represents an acryloyloxyalkyl group or the like; p represents a number satisfying 0≤p≤10; and a represents a number satisfying 1≤a≤3) in each molecule,
(B) an organopolysiloxane resin that is composed of (a) a unit represented by formula (2) ##STR00002##
(wherein R.sup.1-R.sup.3, a and p are as defined above), (b) an R.sup.4.sub.3SiO.sub.1/2 unit (wherein each R.sup.4 independently represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1-10 carbon atoms) and (c) an SiO.sub.4/2 unit, and wherein the molar ratio of the total of the unit (a) and the unit (b) to the unit (c) is within the range of 0.6-1.2:1 and
(C) a photopolymerization initiator has a viscosity that is applicable to a stereolithography system such as lifting system and forms a cured product which has excellent physical properties of rubber.
