A polysiloxane-polyalkylene glycol block copolymer is obtained by reacting a polysiloxane (A) having any functional group selected from a carboxylic anhydride group, a hydroxyl group, an epoxy group, a carboxyl group, and an amino group with a polyalkylene glycol (B) having any functional group selected from a carboxylic anhydride group, a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, an amino group, an epoxy group, a thiol group, and an isocyanate group, wherein a content of a structure derived from the polysiloxane (A) is 20% by mass or more and 90% by mass or less with respect to 100% by mass of the polysiloxane-polyalkylene glycol block copolymer.

An actinic energy ray-curable composition contains a poly(perfluoroalkylene ether) chain-containing actinic energy ray-curable polyfunctional compound (I) and an actinic energy ray-curable compound (II) that is a copolymer of polymerizable unsaturated monomers, the actinic energy ray-curable compound (II) having a side chain containing a fluorinated alkyl group (x) having 1 to 6 carbon atoms to which a fluorine atom is attached and a side chain containing an actinic energy ray-curable group (y), the actinic energy ray-curable compound (II) having a silicone chain (z) with a molecular weight of 2,000 or more at one end of the copolymer, and a cured film and an antireflection film obtained by curing the composition.

With use of this ultraviolet curable organopolysiloxane composition, the hardness of a cured product obtained therefrom is easily controlled, and good surface curability and good curability in deep portions are achieved even in the presence of oxygen. Consequently, this ultraviolet curable organopolysiloxane composition enables the achievement of a silicone gel (a gel-like cured product) which has been cured at a substantially uniform crosslinking density (with a substantially uniform penetration) without depending on the irradiance of ultraviolet light (the amount of irradiation energy).

METHOD FOR PRODUCING CONJUGATED DIENE RUBBER
A method for producing conjugated diene rubber is provided, including: a first step of obtaining a conjugated diene polymer chain having an active end by polymerizing a monomer comprising a conjugated diene compound and a vinyl compound having a functional group interactive with silica using a polymerization initiator in an inert solvent; a second step of reacting a siloxane compound with the active end of the conjugated diene polymer chain having the active end; and a third step of reacting a hydrocarbyloxysilane compound with the conjugated diene polymer chain with which the siloxane compound has been reacted that is obtained in the second step.

Certain embodiments of the present invention provides a raw material for a cosmetic, comprising a core-corona polymer particle dispersion obtained by radical-polymerizing a polyethylene oxide macromonomer represented by formula (1) and one or two or more of hydrophobic monomers represented by formulas (2) and (3) under conditions (A) to (D).
SELF-ADHESIVE SILICONE ELASTOMER
Provided herein are self-adhesive curable silicone rubber compositions. When cured, the curable silicone rubber compositions generally achieve significant adhesion to plastic/thermoplastic/resin material substrates, and especially adhesion to polycarbonate materials. Also provided herein is a process for preparing plastic/thermoplastic/resin materials, especially polycarbonate/cured silicone elastomer materials, and articles and composite parts made from such curable silicone rubber compositions. The silicone rubber compositions generally comprise one or more organopolysiloxanes containing at least 2 alkenyl groups per molecule and having a viscosity of greater than 1,000,000 mPa.Math.s at 25 C.; an organopolysiloxane containing at least 2 silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule; a platinum group catalyst; reinforcing and/or non-reinforcing fillers; and one or more rubber modified epoxy resins.
