Tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol initialized polyetheramines and uses thereof
The present disclosure provides a non-hydrocarbyl-based alcohol initiated polyetheramine. In particular, the polyetheramine of the present disclosure is produced from a tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol-based initiator which is alkoxylated and then reductively aminated. The polyetheramine of the present disclosure may be used in a variety of applications, such as a raw material in the synthesis of a dispersant for use in an aqueous pigment dispersion.
UV curable coating composition
Provided is a UV curable coating composition, and more particularly, to a UV curable coating composition including: at least one polyfunctional epoxy oligomer; at least one epoxy compound; at least one non-hydrolyzed epoxy silane; at least one polyfunctional acrylic compound; at least two photoinitiators; and at least one surfactant. The UV curable coating composition according to the present invention can be coated on various substrates and provide excellent adhesion and scratch resistance to the coating layer regardless of a substrate type unlike conventional coating compositions.

Photosensitive Resin Composition And Cured Product Therefrom
The present invention is a negative-acting photosensitive resin composition including (A) a compound having a triazine ring and represented by formula (1) (in formula (1), each R.sub.1 independently represents an organic group, wherein at least one R.sub.1 represents an organic group having a glycidyl group or an organic group having an oxetanyl group), (B) an epoxy resin having in each molecule a benzene backbone and at least two epoxy groups and having an epoxy equivalent weight of not more than 500 g/eq., and (C) a cationic photopolymerization initiator. The content of the (A) compound represented by formula (1) with reference to the (B) epoxy resin is 1 to 50 mass %. The (B) epoxy resin satisfies at least one of the following conditions (i) and (ii): condition (i) a weight-average molecular weight of at least 500, and condition (ii) a softening point of at least 40° C.

One-component epoxy-modified polyurethane and/or polyurea adhesives having high elongation and excellent thermal stability, and assembly processes using same
A one-component epoxy-modified polyurethane and/or urea adhesive includes very high levels of reactive urethane group- and/or urea group-containing tougheners, an epoxy resin and epoxy hardener. These adhesives are formulated to cure at high temperatures and surprisingly provide high elongations, excellent thermal stability and good adhesive properties.

POLYETHERS CONTAINING NON-BISPHENOLIC CYCLIC GROUPS
Metal food or beverage containers are coated with a polyether polymer containing at least two ether linkages in the polymer backbone. The polymer is substantially free of segments derived from bisphenol A and epoxides thereof, and is a reaction product of, or can be derived from, (i) an aryl- or heteroaryl-group-containing diepoxide that is not derived from a polyhydric phenol or a glycidyl ester and (ii) a polymer backbone extender that has two functional groups reactive with an epoxy group and which following reaction with the diepoxide provides at least one pendant aryl or heteroaryl group on the polymer backbone, or provides at least one divalent aryl or heteroaryl group in the polymer backbone and linked to the backbone via ether linkages.
