Some of the copolymers comprise a di- or polyfunctional nucleophilic initiator and recurring units of the phenyl glycidyl ether and an alkylene oxide. The di- or polyfunctional nucleophilic initiator is an alcohol, phenol, amine, thiol, thiophenol, sulfinic acid, or deprotonated species thereof. Other copolymers comprise a monofunctional nucleophilic initiator selected from thiols, thiophenols, aralkylated phenols, sulfinic acids, secondary amines, C.sub.10-C.sub.20 terpene alcohols, and deprotonated species thereof. Pigments dispersions comprising the copolymers are also disclosed. The copolymers meet the growing needs of the industry with their ease of manufacture, diverse structures, and desirable performance attributes for dispersing a wide range of organic and inorganic pigments. Agricultural applications for the copolymers are also disclosed.
CURABLE COMPOSITIONS
A curable composition, includes a diluent, an epoxy functionalized resin derived from a nutshell oil, an epoxy-rubber copolymer adduct, and a curing agent. There is disclosed a method for making the curable composition, a method of imbuing improved flexibility to a curable composition and a method for improving oily metal adhesion of a curable composition. The method of imbuing improved flexibility to a curable composition includes providing a curable composition, adding an epoxy functionalized resin derived from a nutshell oil and adding a liquid modified hydrocarbon resin derived from a nutshell oil.
CURING AGENT FOR LOW-EMISSION EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITIONS
A curing agent for epoxy resins, containing at least one amine adduct of formula (I) which can be obtained as an addition product of a mixture of a primary diamine, a monoalkylated other diamine and a polyepoxide. The curing agent makes it possible to produce low-odor, low-emission epoxy resin products, in particular coatings, which have a surprisingly low viscosity, a high curing rate, a high final hardness, and a surprisingly appealing surface.

Multifunctional polyamides for protective coatings
The present disclosure relates to a curing agent component for a curable resin which includes a multifunctional polyamide obtained from the reaction of a polyamine and a polycarboxylic acid. The curing agent component may be used as part of a two component curable system for the curing of curable resins including epoxy resins.
LEVELING AGENT AND ELECTROPLATING COMPOSITION FOR FORMING CIRCUIT PATTERN INCLUDING THE SAME
Provided is a leveling agent that controls a plating process for forming a circuit pattern. The leveling agent allows the circuit pattern to have a uniform height and square shape even though the circuit pattern has various line widths. Also provided is an electroplating composition including the leveling agent.
Two-part adhesive including toughened curative
A two-part adhesive is provided comprising: A) a curative part comprising: i) an epoxy curative; and ii) a reaction intermediate which is the reaction product of a suspension of core/shell rubber nanoparticles in a liquid epoxy resin and an excess of the epoxy curative; wherein the curative part comprises greater than 1.1 wt % core/shell rubber nanoparticles; and B) an epoxy part comprising: iii) a liquid epoxy resin; and iv) greater than 9.1 wt % core/shell rubber nanoparticles. In some embodiments, the epoxy part additionally comprises greater than 5.1 wt % solid epoxy resin, such as, e.g., triglycidyl ether of trisphenol-methane. In some embodiments, the sum of the wt % solid epoxy resin and the wt % core/shell rubber nanoparticles in the epoxy part is greater than 41.0%. In some embodiments, the sum of the wt % solid epoxy resin and the wt % core/shell rubber nanoparticles in the mixed adhesive is greater than 26.0%.
