ANTI-TUMOR NANO ADJUVANT BASED ON VESICLE FORMED BY CROSS-LINKED BIODEGRADABLE POLYMER, PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR AND USE THEREOF
An anti-tumor nano adjuvant is obtained by loading a drug on the vesicle formed by a reversibly cross-linked biodegradable polymer with an asymmetric membrane structure; the drug is an oligonucleotide activating an immune response; the vesicle formed by the degradable polymer is obtained by the self-assembly of a polymer followed by cross-linking; the molecular chain of the polymer includes a hydrophilic chain segment, a hydrophobic chain segment and positively charged molecules, successively connected; the hydrophobic chain segment is a polycarbonate chain segment and/or a polyester chain segment, which is compounded and loaded with a drug by electrostatic interaction; and the membrane is a polycarbonate chain segment and/or a polyester chain segment, which is reversibly cross-linked, biodegradable and has good biocompatibility, the dithiolane in the side chain thereof is similar to thioctic acid, a natural antioxidant in human body, and the shell thereof is based on PEG and targets cancer cells.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING POLYOXYMETHYLENE-POLYALKYLENE OXIDE BLOCK COPOLYMERS
In a process for producing polyoxymethylene-polyalkylene oxide block copolymers comprising the step of polymerizing an alkylene oxide in the presence of an OH-terminated polyoxymethylene polymer and a catalyst, the polyoxymethylene polymer has a number-average molecular weight Mn determined after derivatization with propylene oxide and gel permeation chromatography against polystyrene standards with tetrahydrofuran as the eluent of ≥1100 g/mol to ≤2300 g/mol and the ratio of alkylene oxide to polyoxymethylene polymer is ≥0.05 mol/g. The invention further relates to copolymers obtainable by the process, to a process for producing polyurethane polymers using these copolymers and to polyurethanes obtainable therefrom.
FUNCTIONALIZED BILE ACIDS FOR THERAPEUTIC AND MATERIAL APPLICATIONS
The subject disclosure is directed to functionalized bile acids, preparation thereof, and usage thereof for therapeutic and material applications. In one embodiment, a method of generating functionalized bile acid materials can comprise directly activating a carboxylic acid of a bile acid compound using a coupling agent comprising an amide or ester compound, thereby generating an intermediate bile acid derivative material. The method can further comprise attaching a functional group material to the intermediate bile acid derivative material by reacting the functional group material and the intermediate bile acid derivative material, thereby generating a functionalized bile acid material.
ORGANIC METAL-FREE CATALYSTS WITH ELECTROPHILIC AND NUCLEOPHILIC DUAL-FUNCTIONS, PREPARATION METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME, AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates to a kind of organic metal-free catalysts containing both electrophilic and nucleophilic dual-functions, preparation methods of making the same, and uses thereof. The organic metal-free catalysts in the present invention have the chemical structure shown in formula (I):
##STR00001##
Compared with the metal-free organic polymerization catalytic systems that have been reported before, the organic metal-free catalysts in this invention have the combined advantages of simple preparation, high reactivity, easy operation, low cost, wide applicability, easy for industrial production.
POROUS BIORESORBABLE RADIOPAQUE EMBOLIC MICROSPHERES FOR DRUG DELIVERY
Methods, copolymer materials and devices are provided for embolic arterial interventions (embolization therapy or embolotherapy). More particularly, radiopaque, bioresorbable spherical microparticles for embolization or vascular occlusion therapies, comprising copolymers of iodine-containing, halogenated phenyl-containing units, such as iodinated desaminotyrosine derivatives, and rubbery components, such as polyethylene glycol (PEG), polycaprolactone (PCL), polytetramethylene oxide (PTMO) or polytrimethylene carbonate (PTMC), are provided. The provided microbeads may further contain, or be coated with, therapeutic agents such as paclitaxel, for targeted delivery of the therapeutics.
