Reversible aminal gel compositions, methods, and use
A well treatment composition for use in a hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir comprising a reversible aminal gel composition. The reversible aminal gel composition includes a liquid precursor composition. The liquid precursor composition is operable to remain in a liquid state at about room temperature. The liquid precursor composition comprises an organic amine composition; an aldehyde composition; and a polar aprotic organic solvent. The liquid precursor composition transitions from the liquid state to a gel state responsive to an increase in temperature in the hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir. The gel state is stable in the hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir at a temperature similar to a temperature of the hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir, and the gel state is operable to return to the liquid state responsive to a change in the hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir selected from the group consisting of: a decrease in pH in the hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir and an addition of excess metal salt composition in the hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir.
CROSSLINKED POLY(ALLYLAMINE) POLYMER PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS
Pharmaceutical compositions for and methods of treating an animal, including a human, and methods of preparing such compositions. The pharmaceutical compositions contain crosslinked amine polymers and may be used, for example, to treat diseases or other metabolic conditions in which removal of a target species from the gastrointestinal tract would provide physiological benefits.

An illustrative adhesive formulation comprises a phthalonitrile additive selected from a group consisting of 1,2-dicyanobenzene; a derivative of 1,2-dicyanobenzene; and combinations thereof; a bisphthalonitrile compound; and a curing agent; wherein the phthalonitrile additive does not comprise an ether functional group and does not comprise a thioether functional group.
Phthalonitrile adhesive formulations and related methods
Provided herein are phthalonitrile adhesive formulations and methods of making and using the adhesive formulations.
Draw solute and water treatment equipment
A draw solute for forward osmosis membrane process, comprising an addition polymer obtained by addition polymerization of an alkylene oxide having 2 to 10 carbon atoms to an amine compound.
Phthalonitrile Resins, Methods Of Making Same And Compositions Thereof
The present disclosure provides a functionalized phthalonitrile monomer derived from a polyhydric phenol comprising at least one furan group or thiophene group and 4-nitrophthalonitrile. The functionalized phthalonitrile monomer may be used in various thermosetting compositions which can be cured to form thermoset polymers having excellent thermal and mechanical properties, such as high thermal stability, heat resistance, high char yield, and enhanced structural rigidity.
Polytriazole copolymer compositions
A polytriazole copolymer may include substituted phenyls, substituted benzyls, or both substituted phenyls and substituted benzyls. The substituted phenyls and the substituted benzyls may be independently substituted with hydrogen, bromo, fluoro, chloro, iodo, hydroxy, methyl, trifluoromethyl, dimethylamino, tert-butyl, carboxyl, triphenylmethyl, tris(4-fluorophenyl)methyl, tris(4-methylphenyl)methyl, (4-hydroxyphenyl)diphenylmethyl, and difluoromethoxy groups. The polytriazole copolymer may have a degree of polymerization from 25 to 250.
COATING COMPOSITION AND USE THEREOF
A coating composition comprising: (a) a first polymeric coating binder, wherein the first polymeric coating binder comprises: (i) an aqueous polymer latex of a film forming carboxylated polymer; and (ii) a branched polyetheramine polyol dissolved in the aqueous phase of the polymer latex, wherein essentially all of the amino groups in the branched polyetheramine polyol are tertiary amine groups; and (b) a second polymeric coating binder, wherein the second polymeric coating binder comprises a silicone resin binder; wherein the dry weight ratio of (a) to (b) is in the range of 70:30 to 30:70.
CURED ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS AND METHOD OF MAKING
A multiple-part curable composition, a cured composition formed by combining and reacting the multiple-part curable composition, and a method of providing a cured composition are described. The multiple-part curable composition contains at least a part A and a part B. Part A contains an oxalamido-containing compound while part B contains a derivatized polyethylene imine. The cured composition is an adhesive that is suitable for use as a tissue adhesive.
