Curable composition, resist material and resist film
A problem of The present invention is to provide a curable composition capable of forming a resist which can be easily washed after curing and which has high dry etching resistance and excellent precision of fine pattern transfer, also provide a resist film and a laminate each containing the curable composition, and further provide a pattern forming method using the resist film. The problem of the present invention can be solved by providing a curable composition containing a multifunctional polymerizable monomer (A) which has two or more groups having a polymerizable group and has at least one group Q having a polymerizable group represented by formula (1) below, the amount of silicon atoms in an nonvolatile content being 10 wt % or more.
ARTICLES WITH HYDROPHOBIC COATINGS OF BORONIC ACID-CONTAINING SILOXANE POLYMERS AND METHODS OF MAKING THEM
The invention provides articles of manufacture having a surface of a boronic acid-containing siloxane polymer bonded to a cellulose-containing material. The invention further provides methods of making such articles of manufacture. The surface of the cellulose-containing material covered by the bonded boronic acid-containing siloxane polymer is hydrophobic and keeps water from soaking into the article of manufacture. In some embodiments, the invention provides analytic devices in which a hydrophobic coating is applied to a material to defining one or more channels. The one or more channels may contain reagents that can react with analytes if the analytes are present in fluids introduced into the one or more channels.
SILICON-CONTAINING RESIST UNDERLAYER FILM-FORMING COMPOSITION
A silicon-containing resist underlayer film-forming composition for forming a resist underlayer film that exhibits excellent lithographic properties and achieves a high etching rate in a wet etching process. A silicon-containing resist underlayer film-forming composition including: [A] a polysiloxane containing a siloxane unit structure having at least two hydroxy groups; [B] nitric acid; and [C] a solvent.
SILICON-CONTAINING RESIST UNDERLAYER FILM-FORMING COMPOSITION AND SILICON-CONTAINING RESIST UNDERLAYER FILM
A silicon-containing resist underlayer film having a maximum optical absorption coefficient (k value) in a wavelength range from 220 nm to 300 nm of 0.05 or greater.
Curable Organosiloxane Resins Containing Boron
The invention relates to a curable composition showing antimicrobial activity in cured state, the composition comprising (A) at least one boron containing siloxane resin consisting of constitutional units of formula (I)
(YZ).sub.nSiR.sup.1.sub.mX.sub.pO.sub.q(I) wherein: R.sup.1 groups may be the same or different and each is independently selected from a hydrogen atom or a linear, branched, or cyclic hydrocarbon residue having 1 to 20 carbon atoms which may contain at least one heteroatom; X is a hydrolysable group, including, but not limited to OH (hydroxy), Cl, Br, I, or OR.sup.2 (alkoxy or aryloxy), wherein R.sup.2 is a linear, branched or cyclic hydrocarbon residue having 1 to 20 carbon atoms which may contain at least one heteroatom; Z is selected from a linear, branched or cyclic hydrocarbon residue having 2 to 60 carbon atoms which may contain at least one heteroatom; Y is a boron containing group; n, and q are integers from 1 to 3, and m and p are integers from 0 to 2 wherein n+m+p+q=4; (B) optionally, at least one curing catalyst.
The invention also relates to an adhesive, sealant, or coating material comprising the curable composition and to use of the curable composition as an adhesive, sealant, or coating material.
Curable organopolysiloxane composition for transducers and applications of such curable silicone composition for transducers
The present invention provides a curable organopolysiloxane composition capable of producing a cured article that can be used as a transducer and provided with excellent mechanical characteristics and/or electrical characteristics. The present invention also relates to a novel curable organopolysiloxane composition for transducer use comprising a curable organopolysiloxane composition and a compound having a highly dielectric functional group.
BINDER COMPOSITION, A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A CORROSION-RESISTANT SACRIFICIAL PROTECTIVE COATING USING SAID COMPOSITION, AND A SUPPORT COATED WITH SUCH A COATING
The present disclosure provides an aqueous binder composition for forming a sacrificial corrosion-protective coating, said composition being free of chromates and also preferably free of borates and molybdates. Said binder composition advantageously has a pH of less than 6 and comprises a binder, particles of at least one metal oxide and at least one metallic phosphate, said binder comprising a hydrolyzed organosilane oligomer. In addition, the proportion by weight of said particles of at least one metal oxide relative to the total dry weight of said binder composition is greater than or equal to 75%.
Rubbery polysiloxanes carrying cyanoacrylate functions and related methods for their preparation and uses therefor
A family of silicone rubbers (e.g., polydimethylsiloxane) carrying one or more cyanoacrylate groups and their methods of production are provided. These silicone rubbers endowed with cyanoacrylate groups are useful in a variety of wound care applications, including wound closures, adhesives, sealants and skin protectors. The silicone rubber moiety provides oxygen and moisture permeability (i.e., breathability), biocompatibility, optical transparency, and good mechanical properties, while the cyanoacrylate group imparts instantaneous adhesion/attachment to living tissues such as skin on par with that of contemporary cyanoacrylate-based wound care products.
