Adjustable table assembly
The present disclosure provides a system for an adjustable table assembly that can be positioned in as storage and a usage position. The table assembly can include one or more legs supporting a table. The table assembly uses one or more movement control brackets and one or more locking members to secure the table in the usage position and the storage position. The bracket has a defined path that is followed by the locking member as the table is moved between the usage position and the storage position. When the table is in the usage position or the storage position, the locking member moves into a locking position within a corresponding locking portion of the bracket. When the locking member is in the locking position, movement of the table is substantially prevented. Specifically, angular movement of the tabletop is prevented. A user can move the locking member out of the locking portion and into a movement portion of the movement control bracket. When the locking member is positioned within the movement portion, the tabletop can move from the usage position to the storage position, and visa-versa.
Table with Tippable Tabletop
A table with a seamless tippable tabletop and a method of its use are configured for ease of maneuvering between the deployed and stowed position and compact stacking. A latch assembly may have a first latch that releasably retains the tabletop in the deployed position and a second latch that releasably retains the tabletop in the stowed position. The first latch may utilize a pin selectively engaging a corresponding catch to latch the tabletop in position and a manually operated handle to unlatch the tabletop from position. The second latch may utilize a pin selectively engaging a corresponding catch to latch the tabletop in position and unlatch the tabletop from position under a tilting force tending to move the tabletop from the stowed position to the deployed position. Counterweights may be mounted on or in the bottom surface of the tabletop to control movement of the tippable tabletop.
Collapsible, surface-mounted apparatus
An apparatus configurable between a stowed or collapsed position against a support surface (e.g., wall) and a deployed position extending from the support surface for support of objects thereon. The apparatus is configured to make simultaneous use of first and second perpendicular pivot axes to both rotate the apparatus about the first pivot axis through the support surface and pivot first and second pieces of the apparatus relative to each other about the second pivot axis as the furniture system moves between the stowed and deployed positions. This ergonomic and balanced arrangement advantageously allows users to move the apparatus between the stowed and deployed positions with reduced levels of effort.
ARTICLE OF FURNITURE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
An article of furniture can include a flipping actuation mechanism. A privacy screen apparatus can also be connectable to the article of furniture. The flipping actuation mechanism and the privacy screen apparatus can each be configured to facilitate flipping and stacking or nesting of tables or other types of articles of furniture.
Retractable desk and shelf with magnetic wall attachment
An adjustable desk includes a planar desktop and adjustable brackets that are coupled to a vertical wall with magnets. The adjustable desk has a horizontal position where the desktop is horizontal and a retracted position where the desktop is rotated downward.
Adjustable platform work tray
An adjustable platform work tray includes a storage platform, a fixed mounting channel, an adjustable mounting channel, a support frame, and an adjustable brace. The storage platform that function as the storage area for materials and tools includes a base and a side wall. The fixed mounting channel is laterally mounted along a first wall section of the side wall and functions as one of the mounting structures. The support frame is perpendicularly mounted to the base and oriented opposite of the side wall. The support frame is positioned adjacent to the first wall section as the adjustable mounting channel is slidably mounted to the support frame. The adjustable mounting channel that functions as the second structure and the fixed mounting channel are positioned coplanar to each other. The adjustable brace is rotatably engaged in between the base and the adjustable mounting channel to further support the storage platform.
Compactable utility table
A utility table in accordance with the present disclosure includes a tabletop and a tabletop-support frame arranged to support the tabletop in an upright spaced-apart relation to a floor.
FLIP TOP TABLE
A flip top table includes a leg assembly supporting an axle defining a rotation axis extending in a longitudinal direction. A strike plate is non-rotatably secured to the axle, with the strike plate having first and second circumferentially spaced and radially extending stop surfaces. A worksurface is rotatably supported on the axle and includes first and second circumferentially spaced stop surfaces. The worksurface is rotatable about the rotation axis between a use position and a stowed position. A latch assembly is coupled to and rotatable with the worksurface between the use and stowed positions. The latch assembly includes a lock bolt moveable in the longitudinal direction between a disengaged position, wherein the lock bolt is longitudinally displaced from the strike plate, and an engaged position, wherein the lock bolt engages the second stop surface of the strike plate when the worksurface is in the use position. An actuation mechanism is also provided.
Multi-position table
A multi-position table includes a substructure for resting on a base, a superstructure pivotable between a first table position for use while sitting and a second table position for use while standing. The superstructure includes a first support associated with the first table position, the first support having a first top surface spaced a first distance from the base when the superstructure is in the first table position; a second support associated with the second table position, the second support having a second top surface spaced a second distance from the base when the superstructure is in the second table position, the second distance being different that the first distance. The table includes a locking member for locking a first and a second adjusting element together to prevent unintended movement from the first table position to the second table position or from the second table position to the first table position.
Automatically lockable pivoting mechanism and sliding mechanism, and frame and table having same
Disclosed are pivoting mechanisms, sliding mechanisms, frames and tables. A pivoting mechanism includes a first coupling piece, a second coupling piece and a rod. The first and second coupling pieces are pivotally coupled with each other. The rod is operated by gravity to automatically lock or unlock the first and second coupling pieces. A sliding mechanism generally includes a slider and a locking member. The slider includes a sleeve to be slidably coupled with a bar. The locking member includes a restriction piece, operated by an elastic piece to be disposed inside of the bar, to automatically lock the sleeve at a certain position of the bar.
