An oil-like organopolysiloxane which is produced by: adding a compound having a siloxane unit represented by formula (3) to a gel-like silicone, wherein the gel-like silicone is produced by a hydrosilylation reaction of an organopolysiloxane having an alkenyl group with an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having a hydrogen atom bonded to a silicon atom in the presence of a platinum-group metal catalyst; and then equilibrating the resultant product with an acid or alkali catalyst.
