The elastic element forces the lock element to be synchronously inserted to the two lock holes to lock the connecting piece and the facing connecting piece.

The present disclosure relates to a collapsible table. In one or more embodiments, an apparatus includes a table. The table includes a first central segment and a second central segment. The table further includes a plurality of joints configured to facilitate movement of the first central segment and the second central segment. The movement of the first central segment and the second central segment causes one or more dimensions of the table to be modified.

Disclosed are supporting assemblies and foldable structures having supporting assemblies. A supporting assembly includes a locking mechanism that is easy to operate. The locking mechanism is configured to lock the supporting assembly in an unfold state to prevent inadvertent folding of the supporting assembly. It can be unlocked easily when folding the supporting assembly is desired. Additionally or optionally, the supporting assembly includes a protecting component configured to enhance safety during the operation of the locking mechanism.
