An object of the invention is to provide an organic semiconductor element having high mobility and excellent temporal stability under high humidity, and a manufacturing method thereof. Another object is to provide a novel compound suitable for an organic semiconductor. Still another object is to provide an organic semiconductor film having high mobility and excellent temporal stability under high humidity and a composition for forming an organic semiconductor film that can suitably form the organic semiconductor film.
The organic semiconductor element according to the invention includes an organic semiconductor layer containing an organic semiconductor having a repeating unit represented by Formula 1.

Conjugated polymer-based apparatuses, articles and compounds
Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed to conjugated polymers, their manufacture and their implementations. As may be implemented in connection with one or more embodiments, an apparatus includes a conjugated polymer and a side chain or end chain material connected to the conjugated polymer. The amount and makeup of the side chain or end chain enhance solubility of the resulting modified conjugated polymer, relative to the conjugated polymer itself.
LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE
A light-emitting device having an anode, a cathode, a first organic layer disposed between the anode and the cathode, and a second organic layer disposed between the anode and the first organic layer and adjacent to the first organic layer is provided. The first organic layer contains a phosphorescent compound of formula (1), and the second organic layer contains a crosslinked body formed from a polymer compound having a crosslinkable group in which the average number of the crosslinkable groups in the polymer compound per molecular weight of 1000 is at least 0.5.

A polymer for an electron injection layer, an electron injection layer, an OLED device, and a display device are disclosed. The polymer includes a unit A and a unit B, in which the unit A is an aromatic group; and the unit B is a group represented by one of six possible formulae disclosed herein. The electron injection layer includes the polymer. The OLED device includes an anode, a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, a light-emitting layer, an electron transport layer, the electron injection layer, and a cathode stacked in sequence.

A novel monomer design for the synthesis of PPE-type polymers containing conjugated segments of well-defined length connected by flexible linkers under Sonogashira reaction conditions is presented. The resulting polymers retain the photophysical properties of a fully conjugated PPE. The extent of incorporation of the flexible units along the backbone is governed by the comonomer feed ratio and can be varied in a statistically predictable fashion.
