Method and apparatus for raising and lowering of desk within a work surface
A desk within a work surface or table such that the desk can be raised and lowered to any desired position in relation to the work surface using an actuator that controls the use of telescoping legs or rods. During the process of returning the desk back to its original flush, or in horizontal seamless alignment with, the rest of the work surface, a knee action safety device co-acts, or in combination, with a gas spring is used for controlling the lowering of the desk and creating a virtually weightless of desk during final descent; thus, eliminating the possibility of a person's limb or hand being crushed or severely injured, even if these are providing obstruction.
PORTABLE AND FOLDABLE WORKSTATION APPARATUS
A portable workstation apparatus includes: a pair of collapsible legs; and a work portion that is attached in a removable manner to the pair of collapsible lags via a pair of brackets. Each leg of the pair of collapsible legs includes: a frame; an extension connected to a first end of the frame; a lower post housed within a sleeve; an upper post; a hinge connecting the lower post and the upper post; a first brace connecting the extension to the sleeve; and a plurality of holes on an exterior face of the lower post or the upper post. Each leg is configured to collapse by folding the upper post towards the lower post via the hinge and rotating the extension toward the lower post.
THERAPY DESK
A therapy desk and desk tops provide various therapies to the users while standing up or sitting down. It is configured to provide therapeutic benefits by two knobs that are rotated by hand to elevate and lower the desktop or the desk, providing excellent therapy to fingers, wrists, hands, back and legs. As it is operated while sitting down it avoids strain to the back. Also the peddling device used while sitting down provides excellent therapy to the legs.
Tonneau cover with integral table and benches
A vehicle tonneau cover includes a first tonneau cover portion and a second tonneau cover portion positioned opposite the first tonneau cover portion. A connecting structure connects the first cover portion with the second cover portion. A third tonneau cover portion is coupled to the connecting structure so as to be securable in a first position to form a first configuration of the cover, and in a second position to form a second configuration of the cover. In the first configuration, the third cover portion resides between the first and second cover portions. In the second configuration, the third cover portion is spaced apart from the first and second cover portions so as to form a first gap between the third cover portion and the first cover portion and a second gap between the third cover portion and the second cover portion.
HYBRID FURNITURE AND VOLUMETRIC LIGHT DISPLAY SYSTEM DEVICE
The present invention comprises a novel device with the combined functionality of (1) a piece of furniture and (2) a volumetric light display system, depending on its mode. The third key component of the invention is an actuation system, allowing the invention to change its functionality between that of a piece of furniture and that of a volumetric light display system, achieved by physically moving the device or a portion of the device through space. Such an actuation system is comprised of any number of controllers and powered actuators or actuation subsystems to enable the device to change between a furniture mode and a volumetric light display system mode.
Table structure
The present invention provides an improved table structure, which comprises: a central post, formed as a straight post and composed by plural insertion posts, the top thereof is formed with a head portion, and a power cable is provided inside the central post for being connected to a power source; a table stand, installed at the bottom of the central post, formed in a gradually expanded state; a first layer of table surface, fastened at a proper location on the central post, the center thereof is formed with a through hole; and at least two layers of rotary plates, respectively installed at the portion of the central post defined above the first layer of table surface and at a proper location on the central post defined above the lower layer of rotary plate, the center thereof is formed with a through hole corresponding to the insertion post.
COMPLEX SLIDING DESK SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a complex sliding desk system comprising a monitor supporting desk unit for supporting at least one monitor, wherein the monitor supporting desk unit comprises: a unit base; a column connected to the unit base; a desk plate disposed on an upper portion of the column; a monitor supporting part, disposed on the desk plate, for supporting the monitor; and a plate driving part, connected to the desk plate, for forward and rearward moving or rotating the desk plate.
COMPACT, MOTORIZED, HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE, SOFTWARE-CONTROLLED DESKTOP SYSTEM
An improved, height-adjustable desktop system that accommodates various postures including, but not limited to, seated in a chair at a desk, or standing upright on a floor, or various possible positions in between fully-seated or fully-standing, according to a user's preference. Systems and methods for providing computer-control for height adjustments allowing automatic or remote adjustment or both. The desktop system further providing minimalized footprint and upright design to allow placement in small spaces.
