A method for producing an article having a novel metal gloss which does not use a solvent when forming an article having metallic luster, and a toner for metallic luster color and a printing method using the same.
PREPARATION METHOD OF POLYMER
The present application can provide a preparation method that can effectively produce a polymer having desired molecular weight characteristics and solubility in a solvent, and having a monomer composition, which is designed freely and variously according to the purpose, without unnecessary components with excellent polymerization efficiency and conversion rates, and a dispersion comprising the polymer formed by the preparation method.
PORPHENE, A HETEROCYCLIC ANALOG OF GRAPHENE, METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
Methods of forming a porphene polymeric material are provided. The resulting material can be a porphene or a metalloporphene polymeric material. The structure of the polymer can be selected based on a material provided in the monomer material. Methods of using the polymeric material are also provided.
ELECTRICALLY RESPONSIVE, NANOPATTERNED SURFACE FOR TRIGGERED INTRACELLULAR DELIVERY OF BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE MOLECULES
Nano-patterned devices for triggered intracellular delivery of active materials are disclosed. The device may comprise a nano-sized polyelectrolyte multilayer (PEM) comprising at least one layer of an electroactive polyelectrolyte polymer, where the PEM is configured to hold or receive an active material to be disposed within the multilayer and to release the active material under an electric field.
QUINOID CONJUGATED POLYMER AND PREPARATION METHOD AND APPLICATION THEREOF
The invention relates to a quinoid conjugated polymer and a preparation method and application thereof. The quinone conjugated polymer is a novel quinoid polymer connected by C═C double bonds and has good conductivity. The monomer used to prepare the quinoid conjugated polymer contains at least two carbonyl groups. The preparation method is simple and does not require oxidation treatment or doping. The quinoid conjugated polymer can exhibit conductivity without being oxidized or doped, can be prepared quickly and conveniently, and can be applied to optoelectronic devices, thus achieving high application value.
OXIDATION POLYMERIZATION ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
Various processes for producing three dimensional electrically conductive polymer structures, such as three dimensional structures of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene), are described as well as materials produced by these processes.
MICROELECTRONIC PACKAGE ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD) PROTECTION
Embodiments may relate to a material to provide electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection in an electrical device. The material may include first and second electrically-conductive carbon allotropes. The material may further include an electrically-conductive polymer that is chemically bonded to the first and second electrically-conductive carbon allotropes such that an electrical signal may pass between the first and second electrically-conductive carbon allotropes. Other embodiments may be described or claimed.
Solid Electrolytic Capacitor for Use at High Voltages
A capacitor that is capable of exhibiting good electrical properties even under a variety of conditions is provided. More particularly, the capacitor contains a sintered porous anode body, a dielectric that overlies the anode body, and a solid electrolyte that overlies the dielectric. The solid electrolyte contains an inner layer and an outer layer, wherein the inner layer is formed from an in situ-polymerized conductive polymer and the outer layer is formed from pre-polymerized conductive polymer particles. Further, the in-situ polymerized conductive polymer is formed from an alkylated thiophene monomer.
CONDUCTIVE POLYMER CONDUCTOR AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
To provide a conductive polymer conductor that enables improvement of wash durability and conductivity and a method for manufacturing the same. A conductive polymer conductor has a conductive polymer adhered to a substrate and can be used, for example, as a conductive polymer electrode. Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) can be cited as a preferable example of the conductive polymer. The conductive polymer is low-crystalline with low crystallinity and is thereby made capable of being adhered uniformly to the substrate and improving adhesion to the substrate.
ELECTROCHROMIC POLYMERS WITH AMIDE-CONTAINING SIDE CHAINS AND METHODS OF FABRICATING SAME AND ELECTROCHROMIC DEVICE CONTAINING SAME
The present invention generally relates to electrochromic compounds, the synthesis method and the uses thereof, particularly to a family of conjugated electrochromic polymers containing solubilizing side chains, where at least one side chain contains amide functional groups. The disclosed conjugated electrochromic polymers with amide-containing side chains demonstrated excellent redox switching in not only organic but also aqueous media while maintaining high photo contrast. The presence of the amide groups is also beneficial when it comes to lower the oxidation onset potential of the polymers, making them attractive candidates for electrochromic in aqueous environment.
