Work and videoconference assembly
A monitor support assembly includes a base designed to rest on an ambient floor surface. An upright frame structure is spaced forward to the rear of and extends vertically upward from the base. The frame structure includes first and second vertical members and a top frame member that extends horizontally between the first and second vertical members. A shroud assembly is mounted to the upright frame structure and includes a first central wall member and first and second additional wall members extending from the first and second lateral edges in the same direction. The first central wall member and the additional wall members form a receiving space. A mounting plate mountable to the rear surface of a displays screen is releasably supported by the upright frame structure within the receiving space. A depth dimension of the receiving space is sufficient to accommodate a display screen mounted via the mounting plate.
Height adjustable workstation with zero idle power
An electric assisted height adjustable workstation featuring an integrated user interface for height adjustment and power control resulting in zero standby power consumption is described. Power is connected to the workstation via a physical movement of the integrated user interface causing an integrated connector to complete a circuit. Power is disconnected between the power source and the workstation via physical retraction of the integrated UI or an automatic retraction if the user interface remains inactive for a period of time.
Adjustable height desk
An adjustable height desk is disclosed herein that is configured for easy assembly and disassembly. The desk includes panels joined to form a support core for supporting a working surface. The desk also includes a planar base that is easily attached to and removed from the support core by way of protrusions on panels of the support core. The protrusions have locking holes formed therein. Through holes in the base receive the protrusions. Locking pins are inserted through the locking holes to form a compression fit. The locking pins can be sized for movement through a locking hole and for creating a compression fit when inserted into a locking hole. One end of the locking pins can be configured with a hook portion for mating with a locking pin insertion/removal tool. The tool can be utilized to insert and remove the locking pins.
Charting Cabinet
A cabinet for charting. The cabinet includes a charting station, a computer cabinet, and at least one supplemental cabinet. Medicine, PPE, medical equipment, etc. can be stored in the supplemental cabinet. The charting station allows a user to enter information about a patient. The charting station can include a monitor, keyboard, and/or a scanner. The charting station can be coupled to the base via an arm.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONDUCTING REMOTE COMMUNICATIONS AT A FUNERAL HOME
A method for conducting remote communications at a funeral home in accordance with one or more aspects of the present disclosure is presented. The method includes providing a first video conference system positioned in a funeral home. A second video conference system is positioned in a vehicle structure remotely located from the funeral home. The vehicle structure is operable to have vehicles driven into and out of the vehicle structure. A communication link is established between the first and second video conference systems. One or more family members are enabled to gather at the funeral home for a funeral service of a loved one. One or more passengers are driven in a first vehicle into the vehicle structure. While the one or more passengers remain in the first vehicle, the one or more passengers and the one or more family members communicate via the communication link.
MOBILE BATTERY POWERED WORKSTATION
Disclosed are mobile battery powered workstations, methods of operating these workstations to increase warehouse and retail efficiency (through improved order fulfillment, as a mobile shipping & receiving station, mobile inventory management, and/or as mobile powered quality analysis stations), and methods of calculating remaining battery runtime for these workstations. A mobile battery powered workstation may comprise a wheeled base having a modular battery power bay, an upper workstation having a monitor, a computer, a printer, and at least one adjustable height column coupling the wheeled base to the upper workstation. The workstation may also include a glass overlay display positioned on a top surface of the upper workstation area and configured to provide order fulfillment employees with haptic feedback on remaining battery runtime, calculated via an algorithm for increased accuracy. These workstations may be used in warehouses and retail operations for order picking and fulfillment, shipping and receiving tasks, etc.
Mobile computer workstation
The mobile computer workstation is a cart. The mobile computer workstation is configured for use with a computer. The mobile computer workstation forms a mobile station on which the computer is placed. The mobile computer workstation allows the computer readily moved between locations without requiring the disassembly and assembly of the various components of the computer. The elevation of the superior surface of the mobile computer workstation is adjustable such that the computer can be used while standing or sitting. The mobile computer workstation comprises a pedestal, a telescopic master stanchion, and a pivoting desk. The telescopic master stanchion attaches the pedestal to the pivoting desk. The pivoting desk forms the working horizontal surface of the mobile computer workstation. The pedestal: a) is a rolling structure used to move the computer; and, b) stores the elements of the computer not associated with interface functions with a user.
Desk with an upright partition on a work surface that supports laterally-movable attachments
A desk with an upright partition is disclosed. The upright partition connects to the work surface of the desk. The upright partition is configured to support laterally-movable attachments. Exemplary implementations may include one or more of a work surface, a left-side support structure, a right-side support structure, a core body, a working body that provides the work surface, an upright partition that supports laterally-movable attachments, one or more laterally-movable attachments, and/or other components. The one or more laterally-movable attachments can be mechanically coupled to the upright partition and are supported by the upright partition.
Configurable computer workstation
A configurable computer workstation has a base unit and at least one expansion unit, the units having height-adjustable legs and horizontal beams. A connecting structure hingedly and removably connects the expansion unit to the base unit to permit repositioning of the third height-adjustable leg spatially in a horizontal plane relative to the first and second height-adjustable legs. A clampable monitor mount is clampable on one of the beams and is infinitely adjustable along a length of the beam. Motorized height adjustment structures on the units are synchronized for adjusting height of the beams by the same amount in the same direction upon operation of a common control. The workstation is thereby modular, expandable and reconfigurable to permit configuring the workstation to accommodate physical space, ergonomics and the tasks to be performed at the workstation.
