Sealing resin composition and sealing sheet
The present invention aims to provide a resin composition superior in all of resistance to moisture permeability, adhesive strength and transparency. This object is achieved by a resin composition containing 3-38 parts by mass of (B) calcined hydrotalcite, 1-16 parts by mass of (C) talc, and 1-16 parts by mass of (D) silica based on 80 parts by mass of (A) an epoxy resin.
EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITIONS
There is provided a resin composition for producing a composite part, comprising: a) from 30 to 90 wt % by weight of the composition of an epoxy resin component; and b) from 5 to 50 wt % by weight of the composition of a curative component; wherein the epoxy resin component comprises N,N,N,N-tetraglycidyl-4,4-diamino-3,3-dimethyldiphenylmethane (M-TGDDM) in an amount of at least 30 wt % by weight of the epoxy resin component; and further wherein the curative component comprises one or more of a diaminodiphenyl sulfone, a diaminobenzophenone, a fluorene diamine, a methylene bis aniline, including hybrid methylene bis anilines, or a substituted diamine toluene. There is also provided the use of N,N,N,N-tetraglycidyl-4,4-diamino-3,3-dimethyldiphenylmethane (M-TGDDM) as a compression performance improving additive in a resin composition for producing a composite part. There are also provided curable composite components, cured composite components produced therefrom and the use of such components as aircraft components.
ADHESIVES AND SEALANTS HAVING MICROCELLULAR STRUCTURES FORMED WITHIN
A material for sealing, adhering, or structural reinforcement or some combination thereof, comprising a primary blowing agent for imparting cellular structures within the material during initial manufacturing of the material, a polymeric base material that has adhesive characteristics, sealing characteristics, or some combination thereof, a curing agent for curing the material via a stimulus, and optionally a secondary blowing agent for forming additional cellular structures within the material.
Stabilizer and coating compositions thereof
Coating compositions that include a thermoplastic dispersion and an epoxy-functional stabilizer having polyhydric phenols that exhibit estrogenic activity less than bisphenol S.
Anti-corrosive coating composition
An anti-corrosive coating composition having anti-corrosion performance which enables the anti-corrosive coating composition to reduce the generation of rust by salt water spray testing. The anti-corrosive coating composition contains polyaniline component and coating film component. The coating film component is composed of phenoxy resin.
Aqueous polyglycidol synthesis with ultra-low branching
Disclosed herein are glycidol-based polymers, nanoparticles, and methods related thereto useful for a variety of applications, including, but not limited to, drug delivery. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present invention.
WORKPIECE TREATING METHOD, SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE, PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND TEMPORARY FIXING COMPOSITION FOR SHEAR PEELING
A workpiece treating method includes a step (1) of forming a stack including a support, a temporary fixing material and a workpiece wherein the material includes a layer containing a polymer (A) in a range of not less than 50 mass %, the polymer (A) including a structural unit represented by the formula (A1), and the workpiece is held on the material; a step (2) of processing the workpiece and/or transporting the stack; and a step (3) of applying a shear force to the material to thereby separate the workpiece from the support.
##STR00001##
R.sup.1 is a divalent organic group including at least one aromatic ring, each of two oxygen atoms bonded to R.sup.1 in (A1) is bonded to the aromatic ring, and, when R.sup.1 includes two or more aromatic rings, each of the two oxygen atoms is bonded to any one of the aromatic rings.
COMPOSITES WITH INTERLAMINAR TOUGHENING PARTICLES AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A fiber-reinforced polymeric composite structure having chemically active thermoset particles positioned in an interlaminar region between adjacent layers of reinforcement fibers and method of making the same. Upon curing of the composite structure, the chemically active functional groups on the thermoset particles form covalent bonds with the matrix resin surrounding the particles. In one embodiment, the particles are formed of a partially cured thermoset polymer with a degree of cure of less than 100%. In another embodiment, the particles are derived from a thermosettable resin composition, wherein the stoichiometry is such that there is a deficiency or an excess in the amount of curing agent that is necessary for reacting with 100% of the thermoset resin component. In some embodiments, the composition of the chemically active thermoset particles is the same or substantially the same as that of the matrix resin of the composite structure.
