HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE PLATFORMS AND ASSOCIATED MECHANISMS

A mobile workstation can include a head unit assembly. A worksurface can be coupled to the head unit assembly and configured to translate with respect to the head unit assembly between an open configuration and a closed configuration. A glide can be rotatably coupled to the head unit assembly and engaged with the worksurface. The glide can include a latch configured to translate with respect to a glide body of the glide. The mobile workstation can include a worksurface opening mechanism having a locking configuration and an unlocking configuration. The worksurface opening mechanism can include a latch release handle moveably coupled to the head unit assembly. Movement of the latch release handle can transition the worksurface opening mechanism between the locked configuration and the unlocked configuration. A release assembly can selectively engage with the first latch. A lift system can bias the worksurface away from the head unit assembly.

HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE PLATFORMS AND ASSOCIATED MECHANISMS

A height adjustable platform can include a work surface, a lock rod, and can include a brake assembly. The brake assembly can be sized and shaped to receive the lock rod. The brake assembly can be adapted to couple with the work surface. The brake assembly can be adapted to selectively translate with respect to the lock rod.

The brake assembly can include a first torsion spring having a first inner portion and can include a second torsion spring having a second inner portion. The first inner portion and the second inner portion can be sized and shaped to receive the lock rod. The first inner portion can selectively engage with the lock rod. The second inner portion can selectively engage with the lock rod. The brake assembly can include a locked configuration, an unlocked configuration, and can include a safety configuration.

MOBILE WORKSTATION

A mobile workstation comprises a wheeled base, a height-adjustable post assembly fixedly coupled to the rear end of the wheeled base, and a tray assembly fixedly coupled to the top of the post assembly. The post assembly has a four-post construction, with upper and lower vertical posts pivotally connected to a pair of linking posts. To accommodate different users, the post assembly is designed to articulate between an upper position and a lower position through a primarily vertical travel path. The four-post construction of the post assembly disperses the weight of the tray assembly, thereby reducing the manual force required to implement height adjustment. The planar, primarily vertical, travel path undertaken by the post assembly during height adjustment maintains the workstation center of gravity to a centralized location in the base, thereby minimizing the use of counterbalances to ensure stability. As a result, the workstation is lightweight and easily maneuverable.

Gas Cylinder Quick Release Device

A gas cylinder quick release device has an upper bearing plate, and a lower annular collar arranged below the upper bearing plate on an axis common to the upper bearing plate and the lower annular collar. A handle is mounted to move between a first position and a second position. Movement of the handle from the first position to the second position imparts axial displacement of the upper bearing plate and the lower annular collar away from each other along the axis. The lower annular collar moves downward along the axis when the lower annular collar is axially displaced away from the upper bearing plate.

Wall-mounted workstation sliding guide assembly
10376042 · 2019-08-13 ·

A wall-mounted workstation support assembly that allows users of various heights to quickly, safely, and easily vertically adjust the height of one or more peripherals, monitors, keyboards, and various computing devices. In one aspect, the workstation support assembly includes an elongated track, a first mount having a first guide, wherein the first guide is configured to slide along the elongated track, and a lift and release member. Here, the lift and release member can further include a handle, a first bracket, and a friction member secured to the bracket, wherein the friction member is configured to engage the elongated track and prevent the first mount from sliding along the track.

Stowable sensory learning assembly
10362863 · 2019-07-30 ·

A stowable sensory learning assembly configured to provide a multi-sensory stimulation work space for people with sensory disorders and various learning disabilities that can be efficiently stowed when not in use and efficiently and rapidly deployed when needed. The stowable sensory learning assembly includes a horizontal base connected to a vertical housing and a canopy housing, display housing, and desk housing. The display housing and desk housing are movable relative to the canopy housing between a stowed position where the desk housing and display housing are substantially parallel to the canopy housing, and a deployed position where the display housing and the desk housing are angled relative to one another to define a work space.

Displacement structure for a support frame
10323791 · 2019-06-18 · ·

A displacement structure for a support frame includes a fixing member and a slide member. The fixing member includes a first fixing portion, a connecting portion and a second fixing portion which are sequentially connected. The connecting portion has two ends connected to the first and second fixing portions, respectively, the first and second fixing portions are opposite to each other and separated by a clamping space which is provided for clamping a table plate. The slide member includes a first clamping portion fixed to one end of the stationary rod, and two opposite second clamping portions opposite to the first clamping portion. The first clamping portion and the second clamping portions are fixed together by a fixing bolt, there is a slide space between the first clamping portion and the second clamping portions, the first clamping portion and the second clamping portions clamp the first fixing portion.

Display positioning apparatus and method

An apparatus can be configured to position an electronic display. The apparatus can be combined with an existing work surface to provide a multi-position workstation. In some cases, the apparatus includes a mounting portion configured to support an electronic display and a keyboard. The mounting portion may be movable with respect to the work surface between multiple positions, including, for example, a sitting position and a standing position. Methods for positioning an electronic display and a keyboard are also included.

Lift mechanism systems and methods
