An apparatus for manufacturing a powder has: a chamber; a temperature control system for the chamber interior; and a conveyor within the chamber. First, second, and third powder sources supply respective first, second, and third powders along respective first, second, and third powder flowpaths. The second and third flowpaths merge with the first flowpath along the conveyor. The apparatus comprises a vaporizer for vaporizing a solvent to be delivered to the second and third powders along the second and third powder flowpaths.

The present invention provides a spherical powder having properties, such as an excellent strength, toughness, and deformation recovery, and provides a method for producing same. The present invention provides: a spherical powder containing a crosslinked body formed having (A) a polyrotaxane in which both ends of a pseudopolyrotaxane, which are formed by inclusion of the opening of a cyclic molecule by threading therethrough with a linear molecule, are provided with a capping group so that dethreading of the linear molecule is prevented, in particular, a spherical powder having an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 1,000 m, preferably 1 to 500 m, more preferably 1 to 300 m, and still more preferably 1 to 150 m; and a method for producing this spherical powder.

Method of Preparing Superabsorbent Polymer
A method of preparing a superabsorbent polymer, which enables the preparation of the superabsorbent polymer exhibiting an improved absorption rate while maintaining excellent absorption performances is provided. The method of preparing the superabsorbent polymer includes carrying out a crosslinking polymerization of a water-soluble ethylene-based unsaturated monomer having acidic groups which are at least partially neutralized, in the presence of an internal crosslinking agent having a predetermined chemical structure to form a water-containing gel polymer, gel-pulverizing the water-containing gel polymer, drying, pulverizing, and size-sorting the gel-pulverized water-containing gel polymer to form a base polymer powder, and carrying out a surface crosslinking of the base polymer powder by a heat treatment in the presence of a surface crosslinking agent, wherein the gel-pulverizing is carried out by extruding the water-containing gel polymer through a porous plate having a plurality of holes using a screw extruder mounted inside a cylindrical pulverizer under a condition that a chopping index is 28 (/s) or more.

Provided is a method of making a polymeric composition comprising (a) providing a dispersion of initial polyolefin particles in an aqueous medium, wherein the initial polyolefin particles comprise (i) one or more hydrocarbon polyolefin, (ii) one or more non-hydrocarbon polyolefin, and (iii) one or more crosslinking agent; (b) contacting the initial polyolefin particles with a peroxide initiator to form crosslinked polyolefin particles.

Provided are a thermoplastic composite and a preparation method therefor, the composite comprising: a fiber structure having a network structure comprising at least one layer of fiber woven sheet; thermoplastic resin particles having a particle diameter of 1-50 m; and a particulate flame retardant, wherein the thermoplastic resin particles and the particulate flame retardant are impregnated into the fiber structure. In addition, a panel comprising a thermo-compressed product of the thermoplastic composite is provided.

The invention relates to a composition in the form of a solid and suitable as a dispersant for inorganic solids suspensions, comprising A) at least one water-soluble polymer comprising polyether groups, and B) at least one water-soluble condensation product comprising acid groups and/or salts thereof and based on monomers, the monomers comprising at least ) a monomer having a ketone radical and ) formaldehyde. Further disclosed are a method for producing the composition of the invention, and the use thereof in an inorganic binder composition.

SPRAY DRYING METHOD
The invention relates to a process for producing a pulverulent composition comprising at least one polymeric dispersant (PD) which comprises structural units having anionic and/or anionogenic groups and structural units having polyether side chains, and at least one polysaccharide (PS). The process here comprises the process steps: a) production of an aqueous dispersion having a viscosity of the dispersion of less than 10 000 mPa.Math.s, comprising the at least one polymeric dispersant (PD) and the at least one polysaccharide (PS) and b) spray drying of the aqueous dispersion produced in process step a). Furthermore, the use of the pulverulent composition according to the invention in inorganic binder compositions, especially as a rheological additive, is disclosed.
