Networking roundtable controller, system and method and networking engine
A disposition system and method uses software and/or hardware tools to bring persons sharing common interests face to face. In one aspect, a system is used which includes disposition devices such as seating or standing supports and/or counter/table arrangements. The system is adapted to dispose at least three persons in which a guiding system guides relative movement of at least one person of the at least three persons to place the at least one person so as to successively face one of the at least two remaining persons for a desired time period. The system facilitates networking in a manner which reduces awkward situations and provides discipline and efficiency in facilitating contact with a plurality of users. A controller controls the disposition for improved networking, including considering occupancy on the disposition devices. In another aspect, the system is an app operating on a smartphone which may or may not use the seating system of the invention. In addition, the invention creates communities and provides effective and efficient means of connecting with others.
MODULAR CONFERENCE TABLE
A modular conference table allows meeting participants and office staff to quickly and effectively change the length of the conference table as the needs of the meeting participants change. The present invention includes a tabletop assembly including a first end-top, a second end-top, and a modular insert top. Additionally, modular conference table includes a leg assembly upholding the tabletop assembly. The legs assembly includes two terminal supports and center supports. The modular conference table can be expanded in order to accommodate the needs of the user by adding an additional number of modular insert tops, modesty panels, and center supports. Thus, the invention allows attendees of meetings and office staff to adjust the size of a conference table according to the size of the space or the needs of the user.
Reconfigurable conference table
A reconfigurable conference table includes an annulus shaped worksurface having radially spaced inner and outer peripheral edges. The inner peripheral edge defines a center opening having a center axis. The worksurface is moveable between a contracted configuration and an expanded configuration. The worksurface may include at least three sectors supported by and moveable relative to circumferentially spaced support nodes radially spaced from the center axis. At least two of the support nodes are moveable toward and away from the center axis. First and second monitors, facing inwardly toward the center opening, may be positioned above and below the worksurface. Methods of assembling and reconfiguring the conference table are also provided.
SWIVEL MOUNT FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A swivel mount assembly (SMA) for rotational mounting an electronic device onto a substantially stationary apparatus is provided comprising: a mounting portion adapted to mount the SMA to an electronic device; a swivel tube assembly attached to the mounting portion, and adapted to be inserted through a hole in the substantially stationary apparatus, and wherein the swivel tube is further adapted to provide rotational movement of the electronic device in regard to the substantially stationary apparatus; a rotation limiting assembly; and a securing assembly adapted to secure the swivel tube assembly to the substantially stationary apparatus in a securing but rotational manner.
Office Furniture System With Integrated Digital Resources
An office furniture component provides an enclosure defining an interior work space, the enclosure having at least three walls and one or more open sides via which the interior work space may be accessed. A flat work surface may be provided within the interior space. Electronic systems may be installed within the furniture component, such as display screens, cameras, and lighting systems. A lighting controller may implement contextual lighting to vary work space illumination in response to occupant use of the work space.
FURNITURE WITH PIVOTABLE ELECTRONICS RACK
A pedestal for a conference table or other furniture has a shell having an opening, and a rack for electronic equipment mounted within the opening. The rack is pivotable about a vertical axis between a stowed position in which the rack is entirely within the pedestal and an access position in which the rack is largely outside the pedestal.
CONFIGURABLE WORKSTATION
A configurable workstation for communication equipment has a primary support assembly and may have one or more secondary support assemblies behind the primary support assembly to define separate zones that are automatically adjustable in elevation by a motor drive system independently of one another and in synchronization with each other. The primary support assembly may have a work deck, an equipment rack, or a conference table. Each secondary support assembly has an equipment rack. The zones are separated by gap regions permitting recessed positioning of equipment and heat dissipation from a base of the workstation in which computer equipment may be stored. The configurable workstation allows operators to see and be seen, and facilitates ergonomically beneficial positioning of equipment.
WORK AND VIDEOCONFERENCE ASSEMBLY
A monitor support assembly comprising a base designed to rest on an ambient floor surface, the base having a rear end, an upright frame structure mounted to and extending vertically upward from the base spaced forward of the rear end, the frame structure including first and second vertical members and at least a top frame member that extends horizontally between the first and second vertical members, a shroud assembly mounted to the upright frame structure including at least a first central wall member and first and second additional wall members, the first and second additional wall members extending from the first and second lateral edges in the same direction, the first central wall member and the additional wall members forming a receiving space, and a mounting plate mountable to the rear surface of a displays screen and releasably supported by the upright frame structure within the receiving space wherein a depth dimension of the receiving space is sufficient to accommodate a display screen mounted therein via the mounting plate.
Electronics Enclosure Mounting
A system for magnetically securing an electronics enclosure proximate a surface of a separate structure. The system includes a mounting apparatus that has a first surface, a second surface, and an interface structure that is constructed and arranged to allow the mounting apparatus to be secured to the surface of the separate structure, with the first surface of the mounting apparatus closer to the surface of the separate structure than is the second surface of the mounting apparatus. One or more magnets are fixed to one or both of the mounting apparatus and the electronics enclosure such that the one or more magnets are arranged to magnetically couple the electronics enclosure to the mounting apparatus.
