LIQUID-REPELLENT STRUCTURE, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR, PACKAGING MATERIAL, AND SEPARATION SHEET
A liquid-repellent structure includes a surface to which liquid repellency is to be imparted; a foundation layer having a surface and disposed to face the surface to which liquid repellency is to be imparted; and a liquid-repellent layer disposed to face the surface of the foundation layer, wherein the foundation layer contains an acid-modified polyolefin, the liquid-repellent layer contains a fluorine-containing resin and particles, and the fluorine-containing resin contains a hydrophilic structural unit having at least one of an amino group and an amide group. A packaging material has the liquid-repellent structure disposed to face a product. The packaging material can also be applied to a product that is a selected one of hand soap, body soap, shampoo, rinse, creams, and cosmetics and that contains a surfactant.
LAMINATE, HARD COATING FILM, AND COATING MATERIAL COMPOSITION
A laminate containing: an adhesion layer-applied substrate containing a substrate and an adhesion layer disposed on the substrate, the adhesion layer containing an adhesive emulsion particle (F), an inorganic oxide (G) and a light-shielding agent (S1); and a hard coating layer (C) disposed on the adhesion layer-applied substrate and containing a matrix component (B) containing an inorganic oxide (D), wherein a haze value H1 of the adhesion layer-applied substrate is larger than a haze value H2 of the laminate.
FILM INCLUDING HYBRID SOLVENT BARRIER AND PRIMER LAYER
Conformable, stretchable, printable films are described. In particular, films that include a film substrate, a pressure sensitive adhesive, and a hybrid solvent barrier/primer layer including a blend of two copolyamides that are not miscible are described. Such hybrid solvent barrier and primer layers may be effective as both a solvent barrier and a primer layer.
FILM FOR FILM CAPACITOR, METAL LAYER LAMINATED FILM FOR FILM CAPCITOR, AND FILM CAPACITOR
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a film for a film capacitor that has high heat resistance, self-healing properties, and excellent productivity, wherein the film has a resin layer A having a melting point of 180° C. or higher and/or a glass transition temperature of 130° C. or higher and a layer B thinner than the resin layer A in at least the outermost layer of the film, the oxygen content of the layer B is 1.0% by mass or more, when a dynamic friction coefficient is measured on the same surface of two outermost layer surfaces, the surface having a higher dynamic friction coefficient is defined as an a-plane and the surface having a smaller dynamic friction coefficient is defined as a b-plane, and when a dynamic friction coefficient between the a-planes is defined as μdaa, and a dynamic friction coefficient between the a-plane and the b-plane is defined as μdab, μdaa>μdab and μdab≤1.2 are satisfied.
PHOTOCURABLE COLOR CHANGING COMPOSITIONS AND METHOD OF FORMING FEATURES ON A MEMBRANE SURFACE USING THE SAME
Photocurable compositions that have a color change during curing and methods of preparation and use of such compositions. More particularly, the present invention relates to photocurable compositions that that have a color change during curing and are useful for forming topographical features, e.g., spacer features, and/or fold protection coatings on a portion of a membrane surfaces, and particularly on membranes used in osmosis and reverse-osmosis applications, such as membrane filters.
HOUSINGS FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND MEMORY DEVICES
Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to housings for, e.g., memory devices and electronic devices, and to processes for forming such housings. In an embodiment, an article for housing at least a portion of an electronic device is provided. The article includes a first component comprising a thermoplastic and a biodegradable filler or polymer, and a second component disposed on at least a portion of the first component, the second component comprising a plurality of layers. The article has a scratch visibility load of about 200 gms or more, an electrostatic discharge static voltage of about 100 V or less, a thermal conductivity of about 0.28 W/mK or more, or combinations thereof.
Scratch-resistant floor and method for producing same, and floor coating
A floor coating, which is prepared from 55-70% by weight of an epoxy-modified polyurethane resin, 5-10% by weight of Al.sub.2O.sub.3, 10-25% by weight of SiC, 0.4-1% by weight of a leveling agent, 0.3-1% by weight of a dispersant, 5-10% by weight of a solvent and 0.2-0.8% by weight of a curing agent. A degree of polymerization of the epoxy-modified polyurethane resin is 80-100. A scratch-resistant floor and a preparation method thereof are also disclosed herein.
Composite porous membrane and preparation method therefor and use thereof
A composite porous membrane contains at least one porous base layer and at least one uniaxially stretched coating layer located on at least one side surface of the porous base layer. For example, the composite porous membrane comprises at least one porous base layer and at least one nanofiber-like non-polyolefin polymer porous layer oriented along the transverse stretching direction of the composite porous membrane and located on one or two side surfaces of the porous base layer, or the composite porous membrane comprises a biaxially stretched polypropylene porous base layer and a uniaxially stretched coating layer located on at least one side surface of the porous base layer. The composite porous membrane is coated with a coating solution prior to transversely stretching. The nanofiber-like non-polyolefin polymer porous layer may reduce cracking of the composite porous membrane in the machine direction.
