MOISTURE ENABLED ELECTRIC POWER GENERATION MATERIALS AND DEVICE
An ionic hydrogel moisture-electric generator including a thin film comprising a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface; a first electrode electrically connected to the first surface of the thin film; a second electrode electrically connected to the second surface of the thin film; and a moisture impermeable barrier film disposed on the second surface of the thin film, wherein the thin film comprises a hydrogel comprising at least one hydrophilic polymer, an ionic species, and a solvent; the ionic species is an acid or a salt; and the solvent includes a hygroscopic liquid.
PEELABLE COATING FILM, COATING-MATERIAL SET, AND COATING MATERIAL FOR HYDROPHILIC-COATING-FILM FORMATION
The present invention relates to a peelable coating film having silica particles fixed to a surface thereof, a coating material for hydrophilic-coating-film formation which includes colloidal silica, an alkali metal silicate, and an aqueous medium, and a coating-material set including the coating material for hydrophilic-coating-film formation and a coating material for peelable-coating-film formation including an aqueous dispersion type resin composition.
METHOD FOR APPLYING A COATING ONTO A NON-SILICONE HYDROGEL LENS
The present invention generally relates to a method for applying a coating of hydrophilic polymers onto polyvinylalcohol-based hydrogel contact lenses to improve lubricity. In particular, the present invention is directed to a method for forming a coating on a contact lens, preferably a polyvinylalcohol-based hydrogel contact lens, directly in the primary package and maintaining the coated contact lens within said primary package until insertion of the coated contact lens in the eye of the contact lens user. The resultant polyvinylalcohol-based hydrogel contact lens has a coating with improved lubricity and good durability and also can be used directly from the lens package by a patient without washing and/or rinsing.
CONTACT LENS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A contact lens and a manufacturing method thereof are proposed. The contact lens may include a resin composition containing an acrylic-based monomer and a Boswellia extract. By containing a Boswellia extract, the contact lens can prevent adherence of bacteria when worn on the user's eye and serve as an antibacterial agent to prevent bacterial infection, so it can secure a good contact fit and high antibacterial performance.
Optical film having organic and inorganic particles of different sizes, and polarizing plate comprising same
The present invention relates to a resin composition for forming an optical film, an optical film, and a polarizing plate, in which the resin composition for forming an optical film improves adhesion between an antiglare layer and a light-transmitting substrate film and enables the antiglare layer and the optical film to exhibit excellent optical properties such as appropriate haze, low gloss value, and excellent antiglare properties. The composition for forming an optical film is a resin composition for forming an optical film for forming an infiltration layer and an antiglare layer having surface irregularities on a light-transmitting substrate film, and comprises: a binder-forming compound including a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate-based compound having three or more functionalities, and a permeable compound having a hydrophilic functional group and a photo-curable functional group; two or more light-transmitting fine particles having a sub-micron (sub-μm) scale; and a permeable solvent capable of dissolving at least a part of the light-transmitting substrate film, wherein the binder-forming compound and the permeable solvent have a weight ratio of 1:0.04 or more.
