HIGH-ELASTICITY EXTRUDED FOAM COMPOSITION
Provided is a composition for a highly elastic extruded foam. The composition includes a peroxide-crosslinkable thermoplastic polymer, an organic peroxide, thermo-expandable microspheres, and a silane coupling agent.

A composition comprising the isocyanate-reactive component, an isocyanate component comprising a polyisocyanate, and a catalyst is further disclosed. Finally, a method of preparing an article comprising a polyurethane and/or polyisocyanurate foam, and an article formed from the composition and/or the method, are disclosed.
PHENOLIC FOAM
A phenolic foam formed from a composition comprising a phenolic resin, a blowing agent, an acid catalyst, and a surfactant comprising: (i) an ethoxylated castor oil, and (ii) a polysiloxane comprising a side chain comprising polyethylene oxide wherein the total molecular weight of the polyethylene oxide of the side chain comprises less than 50% of the total molecular weight of the polysiloxane.
FOAMABLE SILICONE COMPOSITION
Foamable silicone compositions, containing (A) at least one organopolysiloxane containing at least two alkenyl groups bonded to silicon per molecule, (B) at least one organopolysiloxane containing at least two hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon per molecule, (C) at least one porogenic agent generating gaseous hydrogen in the presence of component (B), and (D) at least one hydrosilylation catalyst. Foams obtained by curing such foamable silicone compositions have excellent resilience, moderate hardness, good mechanical properties, and flame retardancy, suitable for the sealing of battery pack cases.

A very thin filled silicone foam layer is formed from a composition that includes a curable polysiloxane composition including an alkenyl-substituted polyorganosiloxane, a hydride-substituted polyorganosiloxane, and a cure catalyst; a plurality of expanded polymer microspheres having a largest dimension of less than the thickness of the foam; and a filler composition, wherein each component of the filler composition has a largest dimension of less than the thickness of the foam, the filler composition comprising a particulate ceramic filler, a particulate calcium carbonate filler, or a particulate aluminosilicate clay filler having a plate morphology, or a particulate aluminosilicate clay filler having a hollow tubular morphology, a particulate polymeric silsesquioxane filler, or a particulate methyl-phenyl MQ filler, or a plurality of glass microspheres, or a particulate paraffin wax, or a combination thereof; wherein the curable filled composition has a viscosity of less than 400,000 centiStokes, or 100,000 to 350,000 centiStokes.

A composition for foam molding including: a component (A): an olefin-based polymer; a component (B): a styrene block copolymer having no chemical-bond cross-linking moiety; a component (C): a process oil; and a component (D): a foaming agent, wherein a content of the component (A) relative to a total mass of the component (A) and the component (B) is 5 to 36% by mass, and a content of the component (C) relative to 100 parts by mass of the total mass of the component (A) and the component (B) is 160 to 350 parts by mass.
TRANSITION METAL CHELATING POLYOL BLEND FOR USE IN A POLYURETHANE POLYMER
The present disclosure provides for a liquid transition metal chelating polyol blend that can be used in an isocyanate-reactive composition and a reaction mixture for forming a polyurethane polymer. The liquid transition metal chelating polyol blend includes a polyol, a transition metal compound having a transition metal ion and a chelating agent having a nitrogen based chelating moiety, where the liquid transition metal chelating polyol blend has a molar ratio of nitrogen in the nitrogen based chelating moiety to the transition metal ion of 8:1 to 1:1 (moles nitrogen:moles of transition metal ion).

Described herein is a polyurethane foam prepared with certain polytetrahydrofurans and optional polyether polyols.
