Foamed Silicone in Wound Care
The present invention relates to a silicone foam that is produced in-situ at a wound site, e.g. in a wound cavity, through a multi-component system, based on a physical foaming process, wherein the gas required to form the foam structure is provided through the blowing agent independently of the curing reaction of the polyorganosiloxane components of the multi-component system. Therefore, in accordance with the present invention, the blowing agent is provided as a distinct entity of the multi-component system that is, in particular, not the result of any chemical reaction taking place in the multi-component system. The present invention also relates to a device for producing the foam and the corresponding negative pressure wound therapy kit.
Foam formulations
Embodiments of the present disclosure are foam formulations. As an example, foam formulation can include a polyol composition having an amine-imitated polyol that is from 10 percent to 20 percent of a total weight of the polyol composition and an additional polyol that is from 80 percent to 90 percent of the total weight of the polyol composition, a polyisocyanate, a blowing catalyst, and a gel catalyst, where a combination of the blowing catalyst and the gel catalyst is from 0.5 percent to 1.5 percent the total weight of the polyol composition and where the blowing catalyst is from 50 percent to 100 percent of a total weight of the blowing catalyst and the gel catalyst.
PVC COMPOSITE MATERIAL, FOAM BOARD, AND FLOORING
A polyvinyl chloride polymer (PVC) composite material is described herein. The PVC composite material includes 40-60 parts by weight of PVC, 40-60 parts by weight of calcium carbonate, 0.2-0.6 parts by weight of composite foaming agent, 3-5 parts by weight of foam regulator, 2-4 parts by weight of toughener, 0.8-1.2 parts by weight of lubricant, and 2-3 parts by weight of stabilizer. Meanwhile, the present invention provides a foam board made of the PVC composite material and flooring. The resulting PVC products have a high-strength structure and a good foaming property, bring the comfort to feet as the resilient flooring does, have a satisfied sound reduction and can be easily installed as the hard flooring could.
Foamable polypropylene composition
The present invention relates to a polypropylene composition, an injection molded article comprising the polypropylene composition, a foamed article comprising the polypropylene composition as well as the use of said polypropylene composition for reducing the stiffness reduction factor of a foamed injection molded article by at least 200 as determined by the difference of the flexural modulus measured according to ISO 178 of the non-foamed and foamed injection molded article.
FLAME-RETARDANT RIGID POLYURETHANE FOAM
A flame-retardant rigid polyurethane foam contains a flame retardant, the foam having a ratio of the maximum peak intensity ratio (P1) of the foam after moist heat treatment of the foam for one week at a temperature of 80? C. and a humidity of 85% to the maximum peak intensity ratio (P2) of the foam before this moist heat treatment of 85% or more (P1/P2?100). The P1 and P2 each refer to the ratio of the maximum peak intensity of 1390 to 1430 cm.sup.?1 to the maximum peak intensity of 1500 to 1520 cm.sup.?1 when the infrared absorption spectrum is measured at a position 5 to 10 mm from the surface of the foam, and the average intensity of 1900 to 2000 cm.sup.?1 is adjusted to zero.
EXTRUDED STYRENE RESIN FOAM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A styrene resin extruded foam includes a styrene resin, a flame retarder, a hydrofluoroolefin, an alcohol, and at least one selected from the group consisting of a saturated hydrocarbon having 3 to 5 carbon atoms, dimethyl ether, and alkyl chloride. An amount of the flame retarder is 0.5 to 8.0 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the styrene resin. The styrene resin extruded foam has an apparent density of 20 to 45 kg/m.sup.3 and a closed cell ratio of not less than 90%. An amount of the hydrofluoroolefin added is 65 to 90 mol % relative to 100 mol % in total of the hydrofluoroolefin and the alcohol which are added. An amount of the alcohol added is 10 to 35 mol % relative to 100 mol % in total of the hydrofluoroolefin and the alcohol which are added.
STYRENE RESIN EXTRUDED FOAM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A styrene resin extruded foam includes a styrene resin, a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester, and a hydrofluoroolefin. An amount of the polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester is 0.05 to 5.0 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the styrene resin.

POLYETHYLENE-BASED RESIN FOAMED PARTICLES, POLYETHYLENE-BASED RESIN IN-MOLD-FOAM-MOLDED BODY, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYETHYLENE-BASED RESIN FOAMED PARTICLES
Polyethylene-based resin foamed particles are obtained having good productivity, achieve an increase in foaming ratio, and in which a miniaturization of the average cell diameter is suppressed. A polyethylene-based resin in-mold-foam-molded body using the foamed particles is reduced in yellowing of the surface of the molded body and has favorable surface beauty (surface smoothness). The foamed particles contain, as a base resin, a polyethylene-based resin composition containing 1000 ppm or more and 4000 ppm or less in total of one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of antioxidants, metal stearates, and inorganic substances and 50 ppm or more and 20000 ppm or less of hydrophilic compounds, in which the Z average molecular weight is 3010.sup.4 or more and 10010.sup.4 or less, the surface layer film thickness is 11 m or more and 120 m or less, and the open-cell ratio is 12% or less.
