Synthetic elastomeric article and method for the production thereof
The present application relates to an elastomeric article, such as a glove, comprising: (i) an elastomeric film comprising one or more film layers, and including an external surface and an internal surface, (ii) an antimicrobial agent that is effective against both beneficial and harmful microorganisms on the external surface of the elastomeric film, and (iii) a skin-protective agent selected from a probiotic, a prebiotic, or a combination thereof on the internal surface of the elastomeric film; wherein the inner surface of the film is free of an antimicrobially-effective amount of an antimicrobial agent that is effective against both beneficial and harmful microorganisms. The elastomeric articles may further comprise a barrier film layer that provides separation between the antimicrobial agent and the skin-protective agent. Also described are methods for the manufacture of such articles.
Carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex and latex composition for dip molding comprising same
The present invention relates to a carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex, a preparation method for producing the same, a latex composition for dip-molding comprising the same, and a molding product prepared therefrom, more particularly to a carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex capable of ensuring physical properties equivalent to or better than those using sulfur and vulcanization accelerators or cross-linking agents such as zinc oxide without using them by preparing the latex so that a large amount of anionic compound is present on the surface of the latex particles, a preparation method for producing the same, a latex composition for dip-molding comprising the same, and a molding product prepared therefrom.
Latex composition for dip-forming and dip-formed article produced therefrom
Disclosed is a latex composition for dip-molding and a dip-molded article produced therefrom. More specifically, a dip-molded article having slow syneresis, less stickiness and superior tensile strength is produce by dip-molding of a carbonic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex having increased molecular stability due to the combined use of alkenylsuccinate, which is an emulsifier crosslinkable with the latex and having a flexible molecular structure.
A Plug
The present invention relates to a plug comprising a porous material. These plugs can be used for sealing a puncture in a tyre. These plugs can allow a consumer to quickly and effectively seal a puncture.
Latex composition for dip-molding, and molded article prepared from same
The present invention relates to a latex composition for dip-molding and a molded article produced therefrom. More specifically, the above composition can be used to prepare the dip-molded articles having gentle syneresis, no stickiness, and excellent chemical resistance by using monoglyceride.
Dip-Molded Article, Latex Composition for Dip-Molding and Preparation Method Thereof
Provided is a dip-molded article, and more particularly, provided are a dip-molded article including: a layer derived from a latex composition for dip-molding; and a layer derived from a polymer including a repeating unit derived from a diacetylene-based compound, a latex composition for dip-molding, and a preparation method thereof.
Latex Composition for Dip-Forming, Method for Preparing the Composition and Article Formed by the Composition
A latex composition for dip forming, and more particularly, to a latex composition for dip forming includes carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex; and a phenolic emulsifier, wherein the phenolic emulsifier is included in an amount of 0.08 parts by weight to 6 parts by weight (based on a solid content) based on 100 parts by weight of the carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex. A method for preparing the latex composition and a formed article produced using the latex composition are also provided.
DETECTABLE AND MULTI DETECTABLE ARTICLES
This application relates to elastomeric articles such as gloves, compositions for producing the articles and methods for their manufacture. The elastomeric articles contain particles for detectability of the articles (or portions thereof) by metal detectors and/or x-ray detectors. The articles may contain magnetic particles, highly conductive particles, or high atomic mass element-containing particles, and a viscosity modifier to ensure dispersion of the particles throughout the film layer in which the particles are present. The particles may be magnetic particles specifically, and may be coated by a corrosion inhibitor coating.
