An adhesive composition that can be applied to reinforcing plies of textile material for tyres and comprising (a) an elastomeric rubber latex, (b) a precondensed resin composed of resorcinol and formaldehyde and comprising protected isocyanate groups, (c) lignin and (d) a compound chosen from urea and thiourea.
CORROSION-PROTECTIVE JACKET FOR ELECTRODE
An electrical grounding assembly includes an electrically conductive metal grounding plate, and a corrosion-protective jacket enclosing the grounding plate. The jacket is electrically conductive and water impermeable. The electrical grounding assembly further includes an electrically conductive line having a first end in electrical contact with the grounding plate and enclosed in the jacket, and an opposed second end outside of the jacket for connection to a structure to be electrically grounded.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYMER LATEX
A method for producing a polymer latex, includes: a stirring step of adding water to a polymer solution obtained by dissolution of a synthetic rubber in an organic solvent, to allow water to be stirred in the polymer solution, thereby providing a water-stirred polymer solution (A); an aqueous phase removal step of removing an aqueous phase from the water-stirred polymer solution (A), thereby providing an aqueous phase-removed polymer solution (B); an emulsification step of mixing the aqueous phase-removed polymer solution (B) with an aqueous solution including a surfactant, for emulsification in water, thereby obtaining an emulsified liquid (C); a solvent removal step of removing an organic solvent in the emulsified liquid (C); and a concentration step of concentrating the emulsified liquid from which the organic solvent is removed (D).
CARBON BLACK LATEX MASTERBATCH COMPOSITION
A carbon black-latex masterbatch composition that can impart improved properties to a resulting rubber compound, and methods for the preparation and use of the carbon black-latex masterbatch composition.
SOUND-ABSORBING SHEET, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND SPEAKER
A sound-absorbing material, a manufacturing method thereof and a speaker are provided. The sound-absorbing sheet includes a sheet body and a bonding layer. The sheet body is prepared by coating and freeze-drying a slurry, and the slurry is obtained by mixing sound-absorbing powder, a binder, a thickening agent and a foaming agent with a solvent. The sheet body has thickness of 0.05 mm-2 mm; the sheet body has needle-like pores with a pore size of 1 ?m-100 ?m. The bonding layer is configured to fixedly install the sound-absorbing sheet. By needle-like pores, the sound-absorbing sheet has high sound absorption performance, and low damping performance. The sheet can be designed into different shapes and thicknesses for rear cavities of different speakers, so the application range is wide. Because of bonding layer, while aging risk of a structure in the speaker is lowered, the sound-absorbing sheet has higher strength.
DEVULCANIZING ADDITIVE, RELATIVE METHOD OF DEVULCANIZATION AND DEVULCANIZED PRODUCT
A devulcanizing additive for vulcanized elastomers is described, said additive having improved efficiency and selectivity, together with the relative method of devulcaniztion, in continuous and batchwise, and the devulcanized product obtained by means of said devulcaniztion method of vulcanized elastomers.
AROMATIC LATEX AND ITS METHOD OF FABRICATING
A kind of aromatic latex and its fabricating method of mixing and foaming by the following components at the weight ratio of 1020 percent of natural latex, 7080 percent of synthetic latex, 0.52 percent of aromatizer, 13 percent of fatty acid ester, 46 percent of sulphur, 13 percent of zinc oxide, 0.52 percent of curing agent. The present invention belongs to the technical field of latex material, particularly a kind of aromatic latex and its fabricating method with merits of high breathability, high elasticity, strong supporting force, aromatic and fresh smell that can improve the sleep quality with the efficacy of skin care and health care. This aromatic latex is mainly used for fabrication of latex mattress.
POLYMER COMPOSITIONS AND PRODUCTS FORMED THEREWITH
The present disclosure provides compositions and products formed therefrom. In particular, the disclosure provides elastomeric latex articles, such as gloves and condoms, that can be prepared utilizing a styrene-polyisoprene-styrene (SIS) latex. The elastomeric articles can exhibit desired tensile properties while being substantially or completely free of undesired components, such as sulfur and zinc oxide, which can be allergens. The disclosure further provides methods of preparing elastomeric latex articles.
Plug for sealing a puncture in a tyre, kit therefor, method therefor, and tyre comprising the plug
The present invention is directed to a plug for sealing a puncture in a tyre, whereby the plug comprises a head portion and a tail portion, the head portion comprising: a porous material that comprises open pores and capable of absorbing >0.02 grams of water per gram of porous material; and an accelerant selected from the group consisting of a salt, a polar solvent, an acid, and any combinations thereof, wherein the accelerant is retained in the pores of the porous material and is configured to react on contact with a curable sealant selected from the group consisting of anionic stabilized sealants, steric stabilized sealants and anionic colloidal dispersions thereby reducing curing time of the sealant, and wherein the porous material does not comprise the sealant.
Method For Producing A Masterbatch Of Synthetic Diene Elastomer And Carbonated Filler
A method for preparing a masterbatch of synthetic elastomer and of carbon-based filler, which comprises the following steps: preparing an aqueous dispersion of carbon-based filler having a zeta potential with the opposite sign to that of an anionic or cationic synthetic elastomer latex, the difference between the potentials of the anionic or cationic elastomer latex and the aqueous dispersion of carbon-based filler being such that the absolute value thereof is greater than or equal to 20 mV, bringing together, and mixing, the anionic or cationic synthetic elastomer latex and the aqueous dispersion of carbon-based filler to obtain a coagulum, recovering the coagulum, and drying the recovered coagulum in order to obtain the masterbatch.
