Thermoplastic film
A film is provided, including 10 to 20 weight percent of a thermoplastic elastomer, preferably a chlorinated polyethylene, 10 to 20 weight percent of a thermoplastic that is a chlorine-based plastic, less than 15 weight percent of a modifier that imparts predetermined mechanical properties to the film, and 20 weight percent or less of a nondiffusing plasticizer, less than 40 wt % of a filler and 20 wt % or less of a flame-inhibiting material.
Functionalized process aid blends for cellular PVC
A method of reducing foamed density that results in a foamed polyvinyl chloride (PVC) component exhibiting reduced density. The foamed PVC component contains at least a PVC resin and a process aid blend. The process aid blend contains from 1 weight % to 60 weight % (based on the weight of the blend) of a functionalized process aid, and from 99 weight % to 40 weight % (based on the weight of the blend) of a non-functionalized process aid. The functionalized process aid includes at least one base polymer functionalized with a reactive epoxy, hydroxyl, -keto ester, -keto amide, or carboxylic acid functional group. The foamed PVC component containing the process aid blend has a lower density than a reference foamed PVC component made using the same process conditions and additives, but which contains only non-functionalized process aid and not the functionalized process aid.
Co-extrusion SPC foam flooring and manufacturing method thereof
A foam flooring includes a stone-plastic base material structure, which sequentially comprises, from top to bottom, a first stable layer, a foaming layer and a second stable layer. The first stable layer and the second stable layer are both sheets with a PVC resin and filler powder as main components, with 25-40 parts by mass of the PVC resin and 55-75 parts by mass of the filler powder; and the density of the SPC foam flooring is 1.4-1.6 g/cm3. The foaming layer is arranged between the two stable layers, such that the overall density of the flooring is significantly reduced and reaches 1.4-1.6 g/m3; since the foaming layer is arranged inside, the surface strength of the overall flooring is not influenced.

Sliding tendons for high-strain elastomer actuators
A soft structure fiber reinforcement and actuation technology is provided. In an example embodiment, the tendon-driven, fiber-reinforced elastomer membrane comprises an elastomer matrix material and a fiber array embedded within the elastomer matrix material. The one or more tendons are not mechanically bonded to the elastomer matrix material, such that the one or more embedded tendons are able to move through the elastomer matrix material. One or more apparatuses may employ one or more such tendon-driven, fiber-reinforced elastomer membranes for use in a variety of applications.
Preparation process for high-strength PVC composite board
The invention relates to the technical field of polyvinyl chloride, and discloses a preparation process for a high-strength PVC composite board, which comprises the following steps: blending and modifying 20-40 parts by weight of sodium phytate modified wood powder by weight and 5-15 parts by weight of cationic modified chlorinated polyethylene to obtain a mixture, blending the mixture with 100 parts by weight of polyvinyl chloride, 3-5 parts by weight of stabilizer and 0.8-1 part by weight of foaming agent, and extruding into sheets to obtain the high-strength PVC composite board.
