A method of manufacturing a window includes preparing a base material layer, forming a first hard coating layer on the base material layer, and forming a second hard coating layer on the first hard coating layer. The forming of the second hard coating layer is performed in an environment having an oxygen concentration of about 0.01% to about 0.1%.

Provided are multi-stage polymer compositions comprising (a) cross-linked core comprising polymerized units derived from (i) alkyl(meth)acrylate monomers, and (ii) one or more cross-linking monomers, graft-linking monomers, and combinations thereof, (b) a first intermediate layer comprising polymerized units derived from (i) one or more alkyl(meth)acrylate monomers, and (ii) cross-linking monomers, graft-linking monomers, and combinations thereof, (c) a second intermediate layer comprising polymerized units derived from (i) one or more alkyl(meth)acrylate monomers, styrenic monomers, and combinations thereof, and (ii) one or more chain transfer agents, and (d) a shell comprising polymerized units derived from (i) alkyl(meth)acrylate monomers, styrenic monomers, and combinations thereof, (ii) one or more monomers selected from the group consisting of acid functionalized monomers, hydroxyl-functionalized monomers, and combinations thereof, and (iii) optionally, of one or more chain transfer agents.

Provided is a thermoplastic resin film having at least one of film surfaces being excellent in printability, having sufficiently low internal haze, and exhibiting a favorable matte appearance. A thermoplastic resin film according to the present invention composed of a thermoplastic resin composition (C) including at least one kind of a thermoplastic resin (R) and fine particles (P) having a volume average particle diameter of 0.5 to 15 m and a refractive index different from that of the thermoplastic resin (R) by 0.02 or more. At least one of film surfaces satisfies formulas (1) and (2).

METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUBSTRATE HAVING HARD COAT LAYER CONTAINING FUNCTIONAL FINE PARTICLES
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a substrate with a hard coat layer that can maintain the properties of the functional fine particles for a long period of time even under a severe use environment and has excellent wear resistance. A method for producing a substrate with a hard coat layer characterized by comprising (1) providing a semi-cured hard coat layer consisting mainly of a resin on the substrate, satisfying the following formula (a): 12X600 (a), wherein X indicates time in second required for the (A) haze of the glass with the semi-cured hard coat layer to exceed 5%, when the glass with the semi-cured hard coat layer is obtained by layering a 10 m-thick, semi-cured hard coat layer on one side of 3 mm-thick float-processed soda glass; and then thus obtained glass with the semi-cured hard layer is immersed in an N-methylpyrrolidone solvent in an environment of 40 C., (2) applying a dispersion in which functional fine particles are dispersed in a dispersion solvent satisfying the following formula (b) on the semi-cured hard coat layer: 12 X(A+0.2).sup.290 (b), wherein X denotes X described in the formula (a), A denotes the difference between the solubility parameter of the dispersion solvent inMPa.sup.0.5 unit and the solubility parameter of N-methylpyrrolidone (22.3 MPa.sup.0.5), and (3) curing the semi-cured hard coat layer completely.
Heat-curable resin composition, prepreg, and method for producing fiber-reinforced composite using each of same
The present invention provides a heat-curable resin composition, which comprises (1) a heat-curable resin mixture comprising a heat-curable resin (a) and thickener particles (b) and exhibiting a viscosity (150 C.) after having been held at a temperature of 150 C. for 30 seconds that is a viscosity (S), and (2) a curing agent, and is characterized in that the heat-curable resin composition exhibits a lowest viscosity (R) at 80-120 C., the lowest viscosity (R) is 0.1-10 Pa.Math.s, and the viscosity (S) and lowest viscosity (R) satisfy the relationship of formula (1):
5<S/R<200formula (1).
Method for joining two fibre-reinforced plastic components
The invention relates to a method for connecting two fibre-reinforced plastic components, comprising the following steps: producing a first fibre-reinforced plastic component, wherein a fabric made of fibrous matting is provided, which is impregnated with a resin-curing agent mixture, which is then subsequently cured, wherein the part of the surface of the first fibre-reinforced plastic component, which is to be later adhered to the second fibre-reinforced plastic component (hereinafter also referred to as joining surface), is masked with an adhesive strip before the impregnation of the fibrous matting with the resin-curing agent mixture; producing a second fibre-reinforced plastic component using the above steps, wherein the part of the surface of the second fibre-reinforced plastic component, which is to be later adhered to the first fibre-reinforced plastic component, is also masked with an adhesive strip before the impregnation of the fibrous matting with the resin-curing agent mixture; removing the adhesive strips from the two finished fibre-reinforced plastic components; bringing the two joining surfaces in contact; introducing a resin-curing agent mixture between the two joining surfaces; curing the resin-curing agent mixture, wherein the adhesive strip has a carrier film, on one side of which an adhesive mass, in particular self-adhesive mass is applied, and wherein the carrier film consists of fluoropolymers, polyethylene polymers, undrawn polypropylenes or of metal, and the adhesive mass is an acrylate or silicon adhesive mass.
VINYL-BASED RESIN PARTICLES AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
The present invention provides vinyl-based resin particles capable of forming uniform pores in a thermosetting resin film when the particles are used as a pore-forming material for a thermosetting resin. Specifically, the present invention provides vinyl-based resin particles for use in making a thermosetting resin porous, the particles having a temperature of 300 to 350 C. at 10% mass loss when heated at a rate of 10 C./min in an air atmosphere, and the particles having a mass loss percentage of 85 to 100% after being heated at 350 C. for 5 hours in an air atmosphere.
