Polyethylene compounds having non-migratory slip properties

A masterbatch having functionalized silicone with an epoxy group or a secondary amine group as a slip additive, the polyethylene compound that the silicone-containing masterbatch has been let down into, and the plastic articles and films from such compounds having improved slip properties are disclosed. The improved slip properties are evidenced by essentially no migration of the slip additive 12 weeks after manufacturing and a dynamic coefficient of friction value of less than 0.4 and a static coefficient of friction 0.5 or less as measured within the first day of manufacturing according to the ASTM D1894-01 method.

Method of producing toner

Provided is a method of producing a toner including the steps of: mixing a resin solution comprising a resin R, a colorant, and an organic solvent, a resin fine particle comprising a resin S containing an element α, and carbon dioxide to form a droplet having a surface covered with the resin fine particle; introducing carbon dioxide in a liquid state and pressurizing to extract the organic solvent in the droplet; and removing the extracted organic solvent together with the carbon dioxide to provide a toner particle. In the method of producing a toner, when the resin fine particle is treated with the carbon dioxide in a liquid state, a change in amount of the element α on the surface of the resin fine particle after the treatment as compared to the amount before the treatment falls within a specific range.

MATERIAL WITH HIGH OXYGEN PERMEABILITY BASED ON MARINE BIOLOGICAL SUBSTANCE, PREPARATION METHOD AND USE THEREOF

A material with high oxygen permeability based on marine biological substance is disclosed. The material is obtained by compounding a silicon-containing substance with a silicon-oxy group and a bioactive substance selected from one or more of alginic acid, collagen, hyaluronic acid and a salt thereof, in the presence of a crosslinking agent. Also disclosed is a preparation method for the material including: mixing the silicon-containing substance and bioactive substance under acidic condition, and then crosslinking the mixture in the presence of a crosslinking agent. Also disclosed is a use of the material with high oxygen permeability or method thereof to prepare a corneal contact lens, corneal scaffold material, or corneal substitute. The material can satisfy the requirement of high oxygen permeability for extended wear and shows good wearing comfort. The material is biocompatible and has high safety performance.

SURFACE PROTECTIVE FILM, MAKING METHOD, AND SUBSTRATE PROCESSING LAMINATE

A surface protective film comprising a base film and a resin film thereon can be bonded to a substrate having a circuit-forming surface and separated therefrom after processing. The resin film is formed of a resin composition comprising (A) a silphenylene-siloxane skeleton-containing resin, (B) a compound capable of reacting with an epoxy group in the resin to form a crosslinked structure, (C) a curing catalyst, and (D) a parting agent.

DISPLAY FILM AND DISPLAY DEVICE COMPRISING SAME

The present invention relates to a display film and, more particularly, to a display film comprising a substrate layer and a coating layer formed on one surface of the substrate layer, wherein a first critical radius of curvature measured in a direction in which the side surface of the coating layer becomes concave is at most about 10 mm, and a second critical radius of curvature measured in a direction in which the side surface of the substrate layer becomes concave is at most about 5 mm. The display film according to the present invention has a high surface hardness while exhibiting superior flexibility in both directions vertical to the plane direction of the film and thus is suitable for application as an outer window film for a display and particularly has the property of being applicable to a flexible display.
