A hybrid crosslinked polymeric membrane and a process for fabricating the same are provided. Specifically, the hybrid crosslinked polymer membrane comprises a glassy polymer and a ladder-structured polysilsesquioxane and has a crosslinked structure. The hybrid crosslinked polymer membrane can have an excellent permeability of carbon dioxide by virtue of an increase in the free volume and enhanced plasticization resistance, chemical resistance, and durability.

Provided herein are ionically conductive solid-state compositions that include ionically conductive inorganic particles in a matrix of an organic material. The resulting composite material has high ionic conductivity and mechanical properties that facilitate processing. In particular embodiments, the ionically conductive solid-state compositions are compliant and may be cast as films. In some embodiments of the present invention, solid-state electrolytes including the ionically conductive solid-state compositions are provided. In some embodiments of the present invention, electrodes including the ionically conductive solid-state compositions are provided. The present invention further includes embodiments that are directed to methods of manufacturing the ionically conductive solid-state compositions and batteries incorporating the ionically conductive solid-state compositions.

The light valve comprises a first transparent electrode disposed on a first transparent substrate, a second transparent electrode arranged on a second transparent substrate, and a light control layer arranged between the first transparent electrode and the second transparent electrode, wherein a first protective layer is arranged between the first transparent electrode and the light control layer, and a second protective layer is arranged between the second transparent electrode and the light control layer; and the first protective layer and/or the second protective layer comprises a solid modified siloxane polymer. The solution of the present invention can greatly improve the overall thermal stability and light stability of the light valve, and also obtain a higher interlayer adhesive force.
