SHIMMING ADHESIVE
Provided are two-part shimming adhesives comprising a base part and a hardener part that are curable upon mixing. The base part includes a multifunctional epoxy resin having an epoxide functionality of at least three, a difunctional epoxy resin miscibly blended with the multifunctional epoxy resin. The hardener part includes a polyetheramine. Either the base part or hardener part further comprises an inorganic filler present in an amount from 10 percent to 60 percent, relative to the overall weight of the two-part curable shimming adhesive, and a phosphoric acid ester. The shimming adhesive enables joints to be assembled in one step, providing a significant advantage to the user.
CURABLE COMPOSITION AND ARTICLE
A curable composition containing: a compound represented by the following formula (1):
##STR00001##
wherein R.sup.11 and R.sup.12 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and R.sup.13 represents a divalent group having a polyoxyalkylene chain; and a thermally conductive filler.
Coating Tape for Inorganic Layer for Electrode and Method of Manufacturing the Same
The present invention relates to a coating tape and a method of manufacturing the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a coating tape in which an inorganic layer formed on one surface or both surfaces of an electrode is formed in the form of an adhesive tape so as to be attached to a battery, and a method of manufacturing the same.
Light barrier compositions and articles comprising same
The disclosure relates to light barrier compositions, methods of making the compositions, articles prepared from the compositions, and methods of making the articles. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present invention.

Method of preparing plant-based functional polyester filament
A plant-based functional polyester filament and a preparation method of the plant-based functional polyester filament are provided. The plant-based functional polyester filament includes polyester, and plant extract in a weight percentage range of approximately 0.1%-1.5%. The plant extract includes one or more of a peppermint extract, a valerian extract, a lavender extract, a wormwood extract, a chitin extract and a seaweed extract. The method includes preparing a plant-based functional polyester masterbatch, including: heating polyethylene terephthalate (PET) chips to a molten state, adding an antioxidant and a dispersant to the molten PET, stirring the molten PET, adding a protective agent and a plant extract to the molten PET, stirring the molten PET at a high speed, adding a modifier to the molten PET, obtaining a mixture by uniformly mixing the molten PET, and performing an extrusion granulation process on the mixture.
ADHESIVE FORMULATIONS
An adhesive formulation such as a hot melt adhesive or a pressure sensitive adhesive is provided comprising 5 to 98% (by weight) biodegradable substantially non-crystalline mcl-PHA. The mcl-PHA may be cured with a peroxide curing agent. The adhesive formulation may include an additional biodegradable polymer, or a non-biodegradable thermoplastic elastomer. Hot melt adhesives comprising significant amounts of biodegradable mcl-PHA, waxes, and tackifiers are also provided.
COMPOSITION FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
Compositions useful for making additive manufactured articles are comprised of a styrenic thermoplastic elastomer, the styrenic thermoplastic elastomer being comprised of a block copolymer being comprised of at least two blocks of a vinyl aromatic monomer and at least one block of a conjugated diene monomer, and a solid particulate filler dispersed therein, wherein the filler has a surface area of 0.05 m.sup.2/g to 120 m.sup.2/g. The compositions may be formed into filaments for use in fused filament fabrication additive manufacturing. The filaments display good printability without drying or storage under dry conditions.
