POLYPROPYLENE COMPOSITION
The invention is directed to a polypropylene composition, to a three-dimensional article comprising said polypropylene composition, and to the use of said composition for automotive articles. The polypropylene composition of the invention comprises: 40-90% by total weight of the composition of a polymer blend comprising polypropylene having a melt flow index as measured according to ISO 1133 at 230° C. and 2.16 kg of 2.0-100 g/10 min; 5-25% by total weight of the composition of one or more plastomers; 0.5-25% by total weight of the composition of mineral filler selected from the group consisting of phyllosilicates, mica or wollastonite; and 0.2-4% by total weight of the composition of glass fibres having an average fibre diameter in the range of 5-30 μm.
TWO-COMPONENT COATING COMPOSITIONS AND COATINGS PRODUCED THEREFROM FOR IMPROVING EROSION RESISTANCE
A two-component coating composition contains (1) a paint base component comprising (A) at least one polycarbonate diol, (B) at least one hydroxyl-containing acrylate resin, polyester resin and/or polyester acrylate resin having a hydroxyl number of 75 to 500 mg KOH/g, and (C) at least one filler modified with at least one organosilane, and (2) a hardener component comprising (D) at least one organic polyisocyanate, where the coating composition has a viscosity of 50 to 2000 mPa.Math.s at a shear stress of 1000 l/s and a temperature of 23° C. and a proportion of organic solvents of 100 to 350 g/L.
TWO-COMPONENT COATING COMPOSITIONS AND COATINGS PRODUCED THEREFROM FOR IMPROVING EROSION RESISTANCE
A two-component coating composition contains (1) a paint base component comprising (A) at least one polycarbonate diol, (B) at least one hydroxyl-containing acrylate resin, polyester resin and/or polyester acrylate resin having a hydroxyl number of 75 to 500 mg KOH/g, and (C) at least one filler modified with at least one organosilane, and (2) a hardener component comprising (D) at least one organic polyisocyanate, where the coating composition has a viscosity of 50 to 2000 mPa.Math.s at a shear stress of 1000 l/s and a temperature of 23° C. and a proportion of organic solvents of 100 to 350 g/L.
Aluminum-containing silica sol dispersed in nitrogen-containing solvent and resin composition
A silica sol dispersed in a nitrogen-containing solvent and a silica-containing resin composition containing a nitrogen atom-containing polymer. A silica sol including silica particles containing aluminum atoms and having an average primary particle diameter of 5 to 100 nm, the silica particles being dispersed in a nitrogen-containing solvent, wherein the aluminum atoms are bonded to the surfaces of the silica particles in an amount in terms of Al.sub.2O.sub.3 of 800 to 10,000 ppm/SiO.sub.2. The silica particles are bonded to a silane compound or a hydrolysate of the silane compound. The nitrogen-containing solvent is an amide solvent. The nitrogen-containing solvent is dimethylacetamide, dimethylformamide, N-methylpyrrolidone, or N-ethylpyrrolidone. The insulating resin composition includes the silica sol and a nitrogen-containing polymer. The nitrogen-containing polymer is polyimide, polyamide, polyamic acid, polyamideimide, polyetherimide, or polyesterimide. An insulation-coated conductor wire produced by insulation coating of a conductor wire with the insulating resin composition.

Provided is a method for preparing a modified filler. The method includes in sequence providing an acidified aqueous slurry of an untreated inorganic filler which has not been previously dried; an emulsifier material; and a hydrophobating agent having the following structural formula (I):

wherein: R is C.sub.6 to C.sub.22 alkyl, M is silicon, titanium or zirconium, X is OR′ or halogen, R′ is C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl, and a is 1;
washing and/or filtering the acidified aqueous slurry to obtain a modified filler; and, optionally, drying the modified filler. Polymeric compositions and articles also are provided.
Method for preparing modified filler, compositions and articles containing same
Provided is a method for preparing a modified filler. The method includes in sequence providing an acidified aqueous slurry of an untreated inorganic filler which has not been previously dried; an emulsifier material; and a hydrophobating agent having the following structural formula (I):

FUNCTIONALIZED GRAPHENE OXIDE NITRILE RUBBER AND TOOTH-SCAR-FREE TOOTH BLOCK
A functionalized graphene oxide nitrile rubber and A tooth-scar-free tooth block is provided. The functionalized graphene oxide nitrile rubber comprises the following components in parts by weight: 100-140 parts of nitrile rubber, 30-90 parts of a functionalized graphene oxide nitrile rubber masterbatch, 1.8-2.52 parts of a vulcanizing agent, 1.2-1.68 parts of a vulcanization accelerator, 5-7 parts of a vulcanization activator, 17-23.8 parts of a plasticizer, 2-2.8 parts of antioxidant, 59-86.6 parts of a filler, 0.1-0.14 parts of a curing agent, and 2-2.8 parts of dichlorophenol. The functionalized graphene oxide nitrile rubber above has excellent mechanical properties, a wide applicable temperature range and strong stability in use, and can be prepared into a tooth-scar-free tooth block.
