POLYARYLENE SULFIDE RESIN COMPOSITION
The present disclosure relates to a polyarylene sulfide resin composition, which is excellent in dimensional stability and creep retention at high temperatures while having high ductility and excellent brittleness at low temperatures, and thus may be suitably used for water-related parts requiring low brittleness at low temperatures and high creep retention at high temperatures.
POLYAMIDE COMPOSITION CONTAINING FLAT GLASS FIBRES (B) WITH IMPROVED FATIGUE RESISTANCE
Described herein is a polyamide composition (P) including specific flat glass fibres (B) with elongated shape having a non-circular cross-sectional area. The polyamide composition (P) is advantageously used for the production of molded parts. Also described herein is a method of using molded parts obtainable by molding of the polyamide composition (P) to produce mechanical parts. The molded parts are characterized by having improved fatigue resistance properties. Also described herein is a polyamide composition (P) including PA 6.6 as polyamide (A) and flat glass fibres (B).
ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE SHIELDING MOLDED ARTICLE
Provided is an electromagnetic wave shielding and absorbing molded article which has an excellent shielding property and absorbency of electromagnetic waves of specific frequencies. The electromagnetic wave shielding and absorbing molded article includes a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin and carbon fibers. The carbon fibers have a weighted average fiber length in the molded article in a range from 0.05 to 8.0 mm, and the content ratio of the carbon fibers in the molded article is from 0.05 to 45 mass %. The electromagnetic wave shielding and absorbing molded article has a thickness from 0.01 mm to 5 mm, a shielding property of 10 dB or greater and an absorbency of 5% or greater for electromagnetic waves having any frequency in a frequency domain from 59 GHz to 100 GHz.
BORON NITRIDE NANOMATERIAL AND RESIN COMPOSITION
The boron nitride nanomaterial of the present invention is a boron nitride nanomaterial comprising a boron nitride nanotube and a boron nitride nanosheet, and having a peak top of a Raman spectrum located at 1369 cm.sup.−1 or more.
Low-Pore Pellets and Method for Producing Molded Body
Provided are a pellet including a thermoplastic resin and cellulose nanofibers that enables the production of a molded body which has a good appearance in which yellowing is suppressed, and a method for producing a molded body using the same. According to one aspect, there is provided a pellet including a thermoplastic resin and cellulose nanofibers, wherein the number of pore-containing pellets per 100 pellets is 10 or less. Further, according to another aspect, there is provided a method for producing a molded body, which includes a step of preparing the pellets, and a step of injection molding the pellets in a mold to obtain a molded body.
Rubber for textile roller and preparation method therefor
Provided is a rubber for a textile roller and a preparation method therefor. The main material of the rubber for a textile roller is a nitrile butadiene rubber, added with conductive powder and conductive bands to form a net-node structure in the nitrile butadiene rubber by means of a mixing process, so that the rubber for a textile roller has a high electric conductivity, can timely export static electricity, and has good mechanical performance suitable for a textile roller, applicable in components of a spinning frame, a roving frame, a drawing frame and other textile machines.
POLYAMIDES AND CORRESPONDING POLYMER COMPOSITIONS AND ARTICLES

Fiber-Reinforced Propylene Polymer Composition
A fiber-reinforced polymer composition comprising from about 60 wt. % to about 90 wt. % of a polymer matrix that contains a propylene polymer and from about 10 wt. % to about 40 wt. % of a plurality of long reinforcing fibers that are distributed within the polymer matrix, is provided. The polymer composition exhibits a dielectric constant of about 4 or less and dissipation factor of about 0.01 or less at a frequency of 2 GHz. Further, the polymer composition exhibits a Charpy unnotched impact strength of about 20 kJ/m.sup.2 or more as determined in accordance with ISO Test No. 179-1:2010 at a temperature of about 23° C., and a Limiting Oxygen Index of about 25 or more as determined in accordance with ISO 4589:2017.
Thermoplastic compositions having high stiffness and methods of making them
An extruded thermoplastic composition includes: (a) from about 20 wt % to about 75 wt % of a ceramic fiber component; (b) from about 15 wt % to about 70 wt % of a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) component including a high molecular weight PBT and a low molecular weight PBT; (c) from about 5 wt % to about 23 wt % of a polycarbonate component; and (d) from about 1 wt % to about 10 wt % of a compatibilizer component. Methods of making the extruded thermoplastic composition are also described.
