RESIN COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a curable resin composition, etc., having excellent in applicability and workability. Specifically, the present invention relates to a resin composition, etc., including: one or more base polymers selected from the group consisting of (A) a polymer having two or more alkenyl groups and (B) a polyorganosiloxane having a hydroxyl group bound to a silicon atom; (C) a silica powder surface-treated with an alkyl silane; and (D) a compound including one or more elements selected from the group consisting of boron, phosphorus, sulfur, and nitrogen.
Compositions and methods for fused filament fabrication
A composition for fused filament fabrication may include polylactic acid resin and talc. The composition may range from 50% by weight to 99% by weight polylactic acid resin, and from 7% by weight to 40% by weight talc. The composition may be configured as filaments or pellets adapted to be used in a fused filament fabrication process. A method for generating a resin-based structure may include providing a resin source that may include polylactic acid resin and talc. The resin source may include from 50% by weight to 99% by weight polylactic acid resin, and from 7% by weight to 40% by weight talc. The method may also include heating the resin source to a temperature greater than the melting temperature for semi-crystalline resins or significantly greater than glass transition temperature for amorphous resins, and depositing the heated resin source in a layered manner to form the resin-based structure.

The present invention relates to a laser additive comprising core/shell particles, to a process for the preparation of a laser additive of this type, and to the use thereof, in particular as laser absorber in plastics and plastic-containing coatings of articles.
SPHERICAL PARTICLES COMPRISING CARBON NANOMATERIAL-GRAFT-POLYMER AND METHODS OF PRODUCTION AND USES THEREOF
Highly spherical particles may comprise a thermoplastic polymer grafted to a carbon nanomaterial (CNM-g-polymer), wherein the particles have an aerated density of about 0.5 g/cm.sup.3 (preferably about 0.55 g/cm.sup.3) to about 0.8 g/cm.sup.3. Said CNM-g-polymer particles may be useful in a variety of applications including selective laser sintering additive manufacturing methods.
SUPPORTED ZINC DIMOLYBDATE HYDROXIDE / SILICA COMPLEXES AND USES THEREOF IN POLYMER FORMULATIONS
Processes for producing supported zinc dimolybdate hydroxide/silica complexes include the steps of reacting a zinc compound (such as zinc oxide) and molybdenum trioxide in an aqueous system to form a reaction mixture, and contacting the reaction mixture with silica to form the supported zinc dimolybdate hydroxide/silica complex. The resulting supported zinc dimolybdate hydroxide/silica complexes contain silica and zinc dimolybdate hydroxide at an amount in a range from 3 to 20 wt. % zinc, and generally, at least 80 wt. % of the zinc dimolybdate hydroxide is present in the form Zn.sub.3Mo.sub.2O.sub.8(OH).sub.2. These supported zinc dimolybdate hydroxide/silica complexes are useful in polymer compositions, such as PVC-based and epoxy-based formulations.
Rubber compositions with reduced graphene oxide
Rubber components of a tire comprising a diene elastomer and at least 1 phr of reduced graphene oxide nanoparticles having a specific surface area of at least 700 m.sup.2/g, an oxygen content of no more than 6 at %, and a ratio of non-aromaticity to aromaticity I.sub.D/I.sub.G of at least 0.7 as determined by Raman spectroscopy. Methods of preparing such rubber compositions in an internal mixer for achieving good distribution and dispersion are also included.
Thermoplastic resin composition and molded product manufactured therefrom
A thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention is characterized by comprising: a thermoplastic resin containing a rubber-modified vinyl-based graft copolymer and an aromatic vinyl-based copolymer resin; zinc oxide; zinc phosphate; a surface-coated zinc oxide, of which a portion or the entirety of a surface is coated with zinc phosphate. The thermoplastic resin composition has excellent acid resistance and antibacterial properties.
FORMULATION OF CNT-CONTAINING SILOXANES CONTAINING SILICIC ACID
A low-viscosity, electrically conductive, CNT-containing siloxane composition along with processes for producing the same, uses for the same and articles made therefrom. The siloxane composition includes a) 0.1-5 wt % CNTs; b) 70-97.9 wt % of at least one siloxane, which is selected from compounds of the general formula (I); c) 1-20 wt % of at least one hydrophobic silicic acid, which is surface-silylated by at least one organosilicon compound selected from organosilanes of the formula (IV) and organosilazanes of the formula (V); and d) 0-5 wt % of other fillers. Where the proportions relate to the total weight of the composition and the total of all components a) to d) equals 100 wt %.
Rubber composition and tire
Provided is a rubber composition that achieves both wet performance and low loss property while delivering excellent dry handling performance. A rubber composition comprises: a rubber component; and a styrene-alkylene block copolymer, wherein a total styrene content of the styrene-alkylene block copolymer is 30 mass % or more with respect to a total mass of the styrene-alkylene block copolymer, and the rubber component contains a styrene butadiene rubber having a styrene content of 30 mass % or more.
Rubber composition and rubber crosslinked product
A rubber composition includes a carboxyl group-containing nitrile rubber of which iodine value is 120 or less, a polyetherester plasticizer, and a metallic compound, wherein an amount of stearic acid adsorbed by the metallic compound is 80 mg/g or more and 300 mg/g or less.
