Peroxide treated metallocene-based polyolefins with improved melt strength
Disclosed herein are ethylene-based polymers having low densities and narrow molecular weight distributions, but high melt strengths for blown film processing. Such polymers can be produced by peroxide-treating a metallocene-catalyzed resin.
Slip coating composition for glass run of vehicle
The present disclosure relates to a slip coating composition for glass run of a vehicle. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a slip coating composition including: an olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer, polypropylene, and an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) with a weight average molecular weight of 0.4×10.sup.6 to 1×10.sup.6 g/mol, and to a slip coating material formed of the composition, and according to the present disclosure, it is possible to improve a low friction coefficient, wear resistance, and color matching properties of the coating material.

Additive Systems Containing an Antioxidant and a Glycerol Stearate for Improved Color in Polyethylene Resins
Polymer compositions containing an ethylene polymer, 50-1500 ppm by weight of a glycerol stearate, and 250-7500 ppm by weight of an antioxidant selected from a phenolic antioxidant, a phosphite antioxidant, a thioester antioxidant, or any combination thereof, are described. These polymer compositions have improved initial color, improved color after long-term aging, or improved color after multi-pass extrusion processing.

POLYMER RECYCLATE PROCESSES AND PRODUCTS
Methods for processing polyolefin recyclates including, but not limited to, polyethylene and polypropylene and compositions therefrom are provided. polyolefin recyclate feedstocks can be visbroken to improve processing characteristics and/or devolatilized to remove waste byproducts to produce processed polyolefin recyclates. Processed polyolefin recyclates are compounded with pre-consumer polyolefins to produce blend compositions having acceptable or even improved processing characteristics. Such pre-consumer polyolefins can also be visbroken to further tailor processing characteristics of such polymer blends. A combination of extruders and/or extruder zones can be used at the same or different locations for visbreaking and/or compounding of both polyolefin recyclate and/or pre-consumer polyolefins.
