Thermoplastic resin composition and molded article formed therefrom
A thermoplastic resin composition according to the present invention comprises: a rubber-modified aromatic vinyl-based copolymer resin; an aliphatic polyamide resin; a poly(ether ester amide) block copolymer; a modified polyolefin resin; and a heat resistant vinyl-based copolymer resin. The thermoplastic resin composition exhibits excellent anti-static properties, heat resistance and mechanical properties.

The application relates to a vessel closure seal, in particular for fat-containing filling materials, comprising a polymer compound of which the seal consists essentially or entirely, a) wherein the polymer compound is PVC-free and comprises at least one TPS, and at least two different co-PPs, or at least one co-PP with a Shore A hardness of max. 80, a crystallisation enthalpy of max. 30 J/g and a melting point of at least 155° C., b) and the polymer compound has a Shore A hardness at 70° C. of between 30 and 85 and a Molt Flow Index (5 kg/190° C.) of less than 20 g/10 min.

Provided is a curable composition that is soluble in various solvents (organic solvents other than highly toxic organic solvents, for example, cyclohexanone) while maintaining excellent low dielectric properties, wherein a film obtained by curing the curable composition has excellent mechanical properties. A curable composition, comprising: a polyphenylene ether having a functional group including an unsaturated carbon bond, which is obtained from raw material phenols including phenols satisfying at least condition 1 (having a hydrogen atom at an ortho position and a para position), and having a slope calculated by a conformation plot of less than 0.6; and at least one of a compound containing at least one maleimide group in one molecule, a triazine-based compound containing at least one thiol group, and crosslinked polystyrene particles.

Disclosed is a process for creating an elastic film or sheet by calendaring a composition, including a polymer and a fabric. The composition may include a polymer, a cotton, or a combination of both. The calendared composition can form tough, flexible films and sheets. The film and sheet can have optical and physical properties that make them suitable as a replacement for some PVC films. Also disclosed is a composition for calendaring including a fabric and a polymer.

A crosslinkable and foamable composition is provided, which comprises a hydrogenated styrenic diblock copolymer, a free radical initiator and a foaming agent, wherein the hydrogenated styrenic diblock copolymer comprises: a first block comprising a conjugated diene monomer unit; and a second block comprising a styrene unit, wherein the hydrogenated styrenic diblock copolymer comprises 10 to 60 wt % of the styrene unit, 50 mol % or more of the conjugated diene monomer unit is hydrogenated, and the hydrogenated styrenic diblock copolymer has a weight average molecular weight of 30000 to 200000. In addition, a foam obtained by crosslinking and foaming the aforesaid crosslinkable and foamable composition is also provided.

A crosslinkable and foamable composition is provided, which comprises a hydrogenated styrenic diblock copolymer, a free radical initiator and a foaming agent, wherein the hydrogenated styrenic diblock copolymer comprises: a first block comprising a conjugated diene monomer unit; and a second block comprising a styrene unit, wherein the hydrogenated styrenic diblock copolymer comprises 10 to 60 wt % of the styrene unit, 50 mol % or more of the conjugated diene monomer unit is hydrogenated, and the hydrogenated styrenic diblock copolymer has a weight average molecular weight of 30000 to 200000. In addition, a foam obtained by crosslinking and foaming the aforesaid crosslinkable and foamable composition is also provided.
