Crosslinking of Polyamides in the Melt
The present invention relates to a process for preparing a crosslinked polyamide (vP) by providing a melt (S), which comprises at least one polyamide (P) containing furan units and at least one dienophile at a first temperature T.sub.1, and cooling the melt (S) subsequently to a second temperature T.sub.2 which is below the melting temperature T.sub.M of the at least one polyamide (P), to give the crosslinked polyamide (vP). The present invention further relates to a crosslinked polyamide (vP) obtainable by the process of the invention.
NUCLEIC ACID-POLYMER CONJUGATES FOR BRIGHT FLUORESCENT TAGS
A composition includes a polymer including extending chains, side chains, or branches. One (or more) of a plurality of a first strand of nucleic acid is attached to each of a plurality of the side chains. One (or more) of a plurality of a second strand of nucleic acid, which is complementary to the first strand of nucleic acid, is complexed to each of the plurality of the first strand of nucleic acid to form a double strand of nucleic acid on each of the plurality of the side chains. At least one fluorescent compound is associated with the double strand of nucleic acid on each of the plurality of the side chains.
Composition, film, optical filter, laminate, solid-state imaging element, image display device, and infrared sensor
A composition includes a near infrared absorbing pigment, a compound represented by Formula (1), a primary to tertiary amine compound having a molecular weight of 500 or less and a boiling point of 300 C. or lower, a resin, and a solvent. The compound represented by Formula (1) has a solubility in propylene glycol methyl ether acetate at 25 C. of 0.1 g/L or higher. A content of the amine compound in a total solid content of the composition is 10-5000 mass ppm. In Formula (1), P.sup.1 represents a colorant structure, L.sup.1 represents a single bond or a linking group, X.sup.1 represents an acid group, a basic group, a group having a salt structure, or a phthalimide methyl group, m is 1 or more, and n is 1 or more.

Polycationic polymers for use in treating and detecting cancer
Methods of treating cancer in a subject by administering a therapeutically effective amount of a polycationic polymer to the subject are provided. Methods of treating cancer in a subject by contacting a bodily fluid from a subject with a polycationic polymer are also provided. Methods of detecting cancer or metastasis of cancer by obtaining a sample from a subject and determining the level of circulating free DNA (cfDNA), cfRNA, inorganic polyphosphates or the number of exosomes or nucleosomes in the sample are also provided.
