Method for manufacturing quantum dot film comprising encapsulated quantum dots uniformly dispersed therein, quantum dot film manufactured thereby and wavelength conversion sheet and display comprising same
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a quantum-dot film having encapsulated quantum dots dispersed therein, in which quantum dots are uniformly dispersed in a matrix resin to thus increase quantum yield and in which deterioration of the quantum dots can be prevented through encapsulation, a quantum-dot film manufactured thereby, and a wavelength conversion sheet and a display including the same.
Catalytic compositions and thiolene-based compositions with extended pot life
The present invention is directed to curable compositions comprising: (a) a polyene; (b) a polythiol, present in an amount greater than 10 percent by weight based on the total weight of components (a) and (b) in the curable composition; and (c) a catalytic component consisting essentially of: (i) a metal compound; and (ii) a compound different from (i) that catalyzes an addition reaction between an ethylenically unsaturated compound and a thiol. The catalytic composition is essentially free of vanadium compounds. In the curable composition, either (1) both components (i) and (ii) of the catalytic composition (c) are added as a single package to (a) and/or (b); or (2) component (i) and/or (ii) of the catalytic composition (c) is added in separate packages to (a) and/or (b) of the curable composition. The present invention is further drawn to coated articles and methods of extending pot life of a curable composition.

TRIPHENYLPHOSPHINE-CONTAINING COATINGS WITH ENHANCED ADHESION TO UNPRIMED SURFACES
A curable resin composition may include a component having two or more active methylene groups and/or active methine groups, a component having at least two α,β-unsaturated carbonyl groups, and a triphenylphosphine catalyst that promotes a Michael reaction between the other two components. The composition can be used to coat metal substrates and can exhibit particularly good performance characteristics when applied to unprimed, bare metal surfaces.

INFORMATION CARRYING CARD COMPRISING A CROSS-LINKED POLYMER COMPOSITION, AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
The disclosure provides a cross-linkable polymer composition, a core layer for an information carrying card comprising such cross-linked composition, resulting information carrying card, and methods of making the same. An information carrying card includes a body defining a first cavity and a second cavity. The first cavity has a first area and the second cavity has a second area. The first cavity is continuous with the second cavity and the second area is less than the first area. A circuit element is disposed within the first cavity.

SWITCHABLE ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS
This invention relates to polyurethane-based pressure sensitive adhesive compositions that comprise curable moieties. The adhesive compositions are “switchable” from a tacky state to a non-tacky state by initiating curing of the curable moieties. The adhesive compositions comprise the reaction product of: (A) a polymer component containing at least 2 nucleophilic functional groups containing an active hydrogen atom; and (B) a crosslinking component that is obtainable by reacting a polyisocyanate component and a ompound comprising a functional group that is curable by free-radical polymerisation and further comprising a nucleophilic functional group containing an active hydrogen atom.
