POLYOLEFIN-CONTAINING HOT-METAL ADHESIVES
A hot melt adhesive uses a blend of polymers having controlled stereoerror and comprises a stereoblock polypropylene comprising a first block having an isotactic index of between about 50% and about 95% and a second block having an isotactic index of between about 5% and 50%, wherein the difference between the isotactic indeces of the first block and the second block is at least about 10%. The hot melt adhesive exhibits improved peel and tack properties without compromising shear strength and vice versa.

COATED SPONGES
Sponges for cosmetic and/or medicinal applications are coated with a surface coating. The surface coating contains an elastomeric, non-silicone polymer, a certain silicone polymer, an encapsulated phase change material and optionally ceramic particles. The coated sponges have desirable haptic properties and efficiently absorb and release make-up and medicines for application to the skin.

COMPOSITION, METHOD OF PREPARATION AND USE THEREOF, BASED ON A HARMLESS NATURAL ORGANIC MIXTURE FREE OF CONTAMINATION HAVING CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL ASPECTS SIMILAR OR EQUAL TO ORIGINAL BEESWAX
The invention comprises a beeswax analogue composition which enables the efficient replacement thereof, for beekeeping and any industries that normally use it in their production processes and products, based on a harmless natural organic mixture free of contamination having chemical and physical aspects similar or equal to said wax, which comprises: Fine crystal wax, known as microcrystalline wax, with a high percentage of hydrocarbon, branched, isoparaffinic and naphthenic hydrocarbons. Macrocrystalline wax made of non-branched alkanes of non-fine crystals. Organic resin. Organic pigment to determine the colour, distinguishing region, place and factory batch. (Published in a timely manner, to prevent falsifications). The method of preparation comprises the following steps, tools and actions: Proportional weighing of components. Verification of asepsis of machines and tools. Pouring of components into a steam-jacketed shell boiler in order for hot gases to simultaneously transfer heat to the entire mixture coming from an industrial burner with cross-over to medium or high-pressure liquefied gas. Upon verifying the total liquefaction of the components, it can be observed that from that moment the mixture reaches a temperature equal to or greater than 140° C. After waiting for 1 to 10 minutes, the energy (burner) is turned off and the mixture emptied into moulds for cooling. Once the equipment is hot after the first batch has been produced, it takes 25 to 35 minutes to obtain a liquefied product from the raw material for the second and subsequent batches, followed by 1 to 10 minutes at 140° to obtain a balanced product. Its use replaces beeswax in beekeeping and also for storing honey and pollen.
THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER COMPOSITION, FORMED PRODUCT, LAYERED STRUCTURE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE LAYERED STRUCTURE
A thermoplastic elastomer composition including 100 parts by mass of a hydrogenated block copolymer (A), 20 to 180 parts by mass of an acrylic block copolymer (B), 5 to 45 parts by mass of an aromatic polymer (C), and 70 to 250 parts by mass of a softener (D). The hydrogenated block copolymer (A) is a hydrogenated product of a block copolymer (P) having at least two polymer blocks (a1) with a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and at least one polymer block (a2) with a structural unit derived from a conjugated diene. The acrylic block copolymer (B) has at least one polymer block (b1) with a structural unit derived from an acrylate and at least one polymer block (b2) with a structural unit derived from a methacrylate.
PROCESS TO PREPARE PARAFFIN WAX
A process to prepare paraffins and waxes is provided, the process comprising:
subjecting a Fischer-Tropsch product stream comprising paraffins having from 10 to 300 carbon atoms to a hydrogenation step, thereby obtaining a hydrogenated Fischer-Tropsch product stream comprising 10 to 300 carbon atoms;
separating the hydrogenated Fischer-Tropsch product stream, thereby obtaining at least a fraction comprising 10 to 17 carbon atoms and a fraction comprising 18 to 300 carbon atoms;
separating the fraction comprising 18 to 300 carbon atoms, thereby obtaining one or more first light waxes having a congealing point in the range of 30 to 75° C. and a second heavy wax having a congealing point in the range of 75 to 120° C.; and
hydrofinishing one or more wax fractions having a congealing point in the range of 30 to 75° C. thereby obtaining one or more hydrofinished wax fractions having a congealing point in the range of 30 to 75° C.
Low-Density PVC Plastics Flooring and Preparation Method Thereof
The disclosure provides a low-density PVC plastics flooring and a preparation method thereof, which belongs to the technical field of films for floor. The disclosure provides a low-density PVC plastics flooring, which is prepared from components including, in parts by mass, 100 parts of PVC, 300-380 parts of calcium carbonate, 7-12 parts of a stabilizer, 2-8 parts of processing aid ACR, 12-16 parts of a foaming regulator, 0.1-0.5 parts of a foaming agent, 2-4 parts of G60 lubricant, and 2-4 parts of PE wax. In the disclosure, the density of the PVC plastics flooring is reduced to 1.4-1.6 g/cm.sup.3 even increasing the amount of calcium carbon, thereby greatly reducing the production cost and improving the economic efficiency.
