Polyolefin Blends Comprising Single-Site Catalyst Produced Syndiotactic Polypropylene and Polyethylene, Process and Articles Made From These Blends
The invention relates to blends of at least one single-site catalyst polyethylene and at least one single-site catalyst syndiotactic polypropylene with a specific syndiotactic polypropylene content .sub.PP in weight percent relative to the total weight of both the polyethylene and the syndiotactic polypropylene contained in the blend corresponding to:
with being at most 1.40, MI2.sub.PE being the melt flow index of the polyethylene as measured according to ISO 1133 at 190 C. under a load of 2.16 kg and MFI.sub.PP being the melt flow index of the syndiotactic polypropylene as measured according to ISO 1133 at 230 C. under a load of 2.16 kg. The blends show improved impact properties at temperatures below 0 C. The invention is also directed to a process for producing said blends, as well as to articles produced from these blends.
Door assembly
A door assembly. The door assembly may include at least one door panel and a door frame having a plurality of frame members including a header and a pair of side jambs. The invention may also be considered a frame member. The frame member may include a core; and a two-piece top piece adjoining the core to form a structural member. The core and the top piece may be a composite of cellulosic material and at least one other material. The door assembly may further include at least one adjacent panel. Also disclosed are door jamb frame members and mullion frame members.
Adhesive Compositions with Syndiotactic-Rich Polyolefins
The present invention is related to adhesive compositions comprising a polymer blend of at least two different propylene-based polymers and one or more syndiotactic-rich polyolefins. The syndiotactic-rich polyolefin comprises greater than about 50 wt % of a C.sub.3-C.sub.40 alpha olefins and having about 50% to less than about 80% r dyads, based on the total number of r and m dyads present in the polymer.
ACRYLIC RESIN FILM, POLARIZING PLATE, LIQUID-CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL, AND ACRYLIC RESIN COMPOSITION
An acrylic resin film contains an acrylic resin. The acrylic resin film has a glass transition temperature of 120 C. or higher and an internal haze of 1.0% or less. The sum of kurtosis Rku values for both surfaces of the acrylic resin film is 10-50. An acrylic resin composition contains an acrylic resin and acrylic crosslinked particles. The acrylic crosslinked particles have an average particle diameter of 0.1 m or more and 2.0 m or less. The acrylic resin composition contains the acrylic crosslinked particles in a content of 0.05% by weight or more and 0.2% by weight or less. The acrylic resin composition has a glass transition temperature of 120 C. or higher.
