Natural fungicide composition
A method for treating Black Sigatoka fungus in crops of the Musaceae family by applying a fungicidal composition comprising garlic oil, rosemary oil, thyme oil and cinnamon oil.
Refreshment towel and applied solution
A refreshment towel with applied solution is an apparatus consisting of a carrying agent, most likely a high quality cotton towel or towelette, that has been saturated with an aqueous solution comprised of various ingredients. The resulting saturated towel can be rubbed on a user's skin such that the aqueous solution that has been absorbed by the towel is transferred. The aqueous solution is compounded specifically to provide cooling, insect repellant, sun protection, freshness, cleansing and other uses. More specifically, the aqueous solution is specially formulated so that desired sensory results take place when the towel comes in contact with the skin.

PEST REPELLENT MATERIAL
Provided is a repellent material capable of maintaining a stable repelling effect for a long period of time. A pest repellent material of the present invention includes porous particles including primary particles forming pores and aggregating, and an insect repellent component present in the pores. The primary particles contain silica as a component, and in an infrared absorption spectrum of the pest repellent material, a ratio (I.sub.1/I.sub.2) of the maximum absorbance (I.sub.1) at 3730 to 3750 cm.sup.−1 to the maximum absorbance (I.sub.2) at 1160 to 1260 cm.sup.−1 is 0.005 or less. A contact angle of the porous particles with water is greater than 90°, and the contact angle of the porous particles with the insect repellent component is 1° to 90°. It is preferred that 2 to 5 ml of the insect repellent component is contained based on 1 gram of the porous particles.

Ingestible composition having hydrogen peroxide with an increased half-life
The present invention is directed to a method and a composition for producing and using a plant-based biocidal solution. The plant-based biocidal solution contains a bioactive material and a plant-based substance formed from the cellular material of a plant. The plant-based substance is capable of binding to the bioactive material. In some embodiments, the bioactive material is hydrogen peroxide. The hydrogen peroxide can be added exogenously or generated endogenously. In accordance with further embodiments, the plant-based biocidal solution can be applied to a target, thereby impairing the target. In some embodiments, the target can be a pathogen. In accordance with another embodiment, the plant-based substance of the plant-based biocidal solution can form a microscopic cluster, a complex, or an aggregate for providing sufficient bioactive material to overcome the defense mechanism of the target.

Hematophagous arthropod repellent composition
A hematophagous arthropod repellent composition includes 3,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde or vanillin acetate as an effective ingredient. The repellent composition is against hematophagous arthropods which transmit diseases to animals including humans or directly cause discomfort or stress by bloodsucking. The hematophagous arthropod repellent composition not only has excellent repellency against hematophagous arthropods such as mosquitoes and ticks but also has long-lasting repellency, and thus it may be used as a hematophagous arthropod repellent for protecting animals including humans.
