Compound having azo skeleton structure, pigment-dispersing agent, pigment composition, pigment dispersion, and toner
The present invention provides a compound capable of improving the dispersibility of yellow, magenta, cyan, and black pigments in a water-insoluble solvent and a pigment-dispersing agent. The present invention also provides a pigment composition, a pigment dispersion, and a toner, which have satisfactory tinting strength. The present invention relates to a compound having a structure in which an azo skeleton structure is bound to a polymer portion via a linking group in the azo skeleton structure.
Method for producing compound having colorant structure at main chain terminal of polymer, and pigment dispersant, pigment composition, pigment dispersion and toner containing compound obtained by the production method
To provide a method for producing a compound that enhances dispersibility of a pigment of respective colors in a water-insoluble solvent, as well as a pigment dispersant, and a pigment composition, a pigment dispersion and a toner having a good tinting power. A method for producing a compound, including the following: (i): subjecting a polymerizable monomer forming a monomer unit represented by formula (1) to radical polymerization in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator and an iodine molecule to provide a polymer; and (ii): binding a colorant to a terminal of a main chain of the polymer: ##STR00001##

STORAGE-STABLE DYE SOLUTIONS
The present invention relates to storage-stable dye salts, solutions and compositions thereof a process for their preparation and their use for dyeing and/or printing substrates.
AQUEOUS INK, INK CARTRIDGE AND INK JET RECORDING METHOD
Provided is an aqueous ink for ink jet, which is excellent in sticking recoverability and capable of suppressing bronzing. The aqueous ink for ink jet includes a pigment. The pigment includes a first pigment that is a quinacridone pigment and a second pigment that is a monoazo pigment free of a condensed ring in a molecule thereof. A hue angle of a diluted solution obtained by diluting the ink with water so that an absorbance at a maximum absorption wavelength in a wavelength range of from 380 nm to 780 nm is 1 is 3300 or more to 3450 or less.
PIGMENT COMPOSITION, COLORANT, AND LIQUID INK
An object of the present invention is to provide a pigment composition capable of exhibiting good dispersibility and dispersion stability of a pigment in a polyurethane ink or the like, and a colorant and a liquid ink containing the pigment composition. Specifically, the pigment composition of the present invention contains at least one organic pigment selected from the group consisting of benzimidazolone azo pigments and quinacridone pigments, and at least one polycarboxylic acid compound represented by the following Formulae (I) to (II).

Optical sheet and optical component
An optical sheet 10 of the present invention includes a laminate including a polarizing layer 4 containing at least one kind of a light absorbing agent and having a polarizing function, and a protective layer 1 laminated on the polarizing layer 4, in which in the polarizing layer 4, a value of a* is 0 or more and 30 or less and a value of b* is 0 or more and 30 or less in an L*a*b* color system defined by JIS Z 8781-4, and in the optical sheet 10, a size of a Q Blue value defined by Australian Standard Australia/New Zealand Standard 1067-2016 is 0.70 or more. Thus, even when the optical sheet is toned to brown, blue light can be distinguished with excellent distinguishability.
