Expansion connector
An expansion connector connecting two furniture panels includes a bolt having a cylindrical bolt shaft with a bolt head opposite an expansion cone. A plastics expansion sleeve is mounted displaceably on the bolt having at least two expansion tabs, each of which has a radially outwardly protruding collar. The expansion sleeve can be transferred, by a displacement relative to the bolt, from a non-expanded starting position into an expanded end position where the expansion tabs are radially outwardly expanded. In the starting position, the expansion tabs bear against the bolt shaft by a guide portion and divides the expansion tabs into a first tab portion facing the bolt head and a second tab portion facing away from the bolt head. The first tab portions are radially spaced apart from the bolt shaft, and, in the end position, the expansion tabs are each pivoted about the edge of the guide portion.
CONNECTING DEVICE BETWEEN COMPONENTS OF A PIECE OF FURNITURE, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING SAID DEVICE
A method for the production of a connecting device for the components of piece of furniture, characterized in that it includes the steps of preparation of a casing extending along a longitudinal axis and provided with a first and a second half-shell both concave and mutually rotatably connected in correspondence of a reciprocal connecting line defining an tilting axis, in which said half-shells are mutually put side by side with the respective concavities facing upwards, predisposition of at least one tie rod, predisposition of at least one eccentric element and at least one tie rod, tilting of the second half-shell around the axis from the open position to a closed position, in which the half-shells are mutually abutted in correspondence of respective peripheral edges and the respective concavities defining the housing space for the tie rod and the eccentric element.
CONNECTING DEVICE BETWEEN COMPONENTS OF A PIECE OF FURNITURE
A connecting device between components of a piece of furniture includes a casing capable of being received in a first seat and in a second seat obtained respectively in a first and in a second component of the piece of furniture, and including a first and a second radially expandable region to engage respectively the first and the second component in correspondence of the first and the second seat, a tie rod received inside the casing with axial sliding power towards and from a locking position, and including a first segment in enlarged section and a second segment in enlarged section susceptible of engagement respectively with the first and the second region to determine a radial expansion of the casing when the rod is moved in the locking position, and an eccentric element arranged to engage a head of the tie rod and axially move it towards the locking position when the eccentric element rotates around its main axis.
Fastening Device
A fastening device comprises a dowel and a connecting element. The dowel has a sleeve-like or pot-like shape that is mountable in a blind hole or in a passage opening of a first furniture part. The dowel includes a receiving space defined by a wall comprising at least two walls sections. The connecting element is fix on the dowel to fasten the first furniture part to a second furniture part, wherein the dowel is fixable in the blind hole or passage opening via the connecting element spreading apart the at least two wall sections radially outwards against an inner surface of the blind hole or passage opening.
Furniture fitting
A furniture fitting for connecting two furniture parts includes a dowel for fastening the furniture fitting to one of the two furniture parts, and an expansion element mounted for movement relative to the dowel. The dowel can be transferred from a first release position into a clamping position by a relative movement of the expansion element. A fitting body has a connecting device for connecting the furniture fitting to the other of the two furniture parts, the fitting body being connected to the expansion element such that the dowel can be moved from the first release position into the clamping position by a rotational or pivoting movement of the fitting body in a first actuation direction. The dowel can be moved from the clamping position into a second release position by a continuation of the rotational or pivoting movement of the fitting body in the first actuation direction.
