Chlorinated copper phthalocyanine pigments
It is an object of the present technology to overcome the disadvantages of conventional chlorination of a copper phthalocyanine which produces copper phthalocyanine, wherein the number of chlorines is less than or equal to 4. The pigments described herein contain less chlorine than standard commercial grades of tetrachlorinated (or greater) copper phthalocyanine pigments while achieving similar color space, chromaticity, fastness properties, and color travel in automotive waterborne and solvent borne systems. The inventive pigments are more advantageous from a toxicity and environmental perspective, and allow the manufacturer to produce pigments in a safe and economical manner.
PIGMENT COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING CHLORINATED COPPER PHTHALOCYANINE PIGMENTS IN THE GAMMA CRYSTAL FORM
The present technology is directed to pigment compositions having a pure, or substantially pure, crystal form, containing less chlorine than standard tetrachlorinated copper phthalocyanine pigments, while giving similar color space, chromaticity, fastness properties, and color travel in automotive waterborne and solvent borne systems. These pigments are more advantageous from a toxicity and environmental perspective, and allow the manufacturer to produce pigments in a safe and economical manner.
Copper phthalocyanine pigment composition and ink composition containing same
A usual ink composition can be expected to improve ink viscosity to a certain degree, but when used for a glycol ether-based ink recently required, an increase in viscosity in preparing the ink cannot be suppressed. In addition, there is unknown a copper phthalocyanine pigment composition which can satisfy both such an improvement in ink viscosity and resolubility as printability which is important for the glycol ether-based ink. In this situation, a problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a copper phthalocyanine pigment composition having low viscosity and excellent resolubility in a glycol ether-based ink. It was found that when a copper phthalocyanine pigment is combined with a specified copper phthalocyanine acid derivative, a pigment composition having significantly low viscosity when formed into a glycol ether-based ink, and good familiarity with the ink can be produced, leading to the achievement of the present invention.
Halogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment for color filter and method for producing halogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment for color filter
There is provided a novel halogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment for a color filter, which can form a green color filter having excellent contrast and high luminance. A halogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment for a color filter shows, in a Raman spectrum, a peak intensity of 3.0% or more at 716?2.2 cm.sup.?1 when a peak intensity at 650?10 cm.sup.?1 is regarded as 100%.
Organic pigment composition for color filters, method for producing same, and color filter
Provided is an organic pigment composition for color filters, which can be used preferably for a color filter that allows to produce a liquid crystal display device which has excellent heat resistance, a brighter display screen, and accordingly higher brightness; a method for producing the same; and a color filter which includes the organic pigment composition for color filters. The color filter has higher heat resistance by using the organic pigment composition for color filters which includes a phthalocyanine pigment and a pigment derivative in which the ratio of a multi-substituted phthalimide alkyl group to the whole amount of the pigment derivative is limited.

Electrophotographic photosensitive member, process cartridge, electrophotographic apparatus, and phthalocyanine pigment
An electrophotographic photosensitive member includes a substrate and a photosensitive layer containing a phthalocyanine pigment. The crystalline particles of the phthalocyanine pigment have a crystallite correlation length r and a particle size R of 400 nm or less, and a parameter k defined by r/R is in the range of 0.17 to 0.42.
Manufacturing method of phthalocyanine crystal by milling crystal transformation for at least 1,000 hours
The present invention provides: an electrophotographic photosensitive member which reduces image defects due to ghosting not only under a normal temperature and normal humidity environment but also even under a low temperature and low humidity environment; and a novel phthalocyanine crystal. The electrophotographic photosensitive member of the present invention comprises a photosensitive layer which comprises a phthalocyanine crystal in which a N,N-dimethylformamide is contained. The content of the N,N-dimethylformamide is 0.1% by mass or more and 1.5% by mass or less based on the phthalocyanine crystal.
