COLORING COMPOSITION, INK JET RECORDING INK, INK JET RECORDING METHOD, AND INK JET PRINTER CARTRIDGE
Provided are a coloring composition including a compound represented by Formula (1) shown in this specification and a compound represented by Formula (D) shown in this specification, an ink jet recording ink including the coloring composition, an ink jet recording method using the ink jet recording ink, and an ink jet printer cartridge that is filled with the ink jet recording ink.
Preparation of aqueous green inkjet compositions
An aqueous organic pigment dispersion contains a green copper phthalocyanine pigment and an azo-coupled -ketoamide pigment. It also includes an organic pigment dispersant at 40 weight % to 100 weight %, based on the sum of the weights of the organic pigments. This aqueous organic pigment dispersion can be combined with a humectant to provide an aqueous green inkjet ink composition. The weight ratio of the green copper phthalocyanine pigment to the azo-coupled -ketoamide pigment is from 1:1 to 10:1. The median particle diameter of each of the green copper phthalocyanine pigment and the azo-coupled -ketoamide pigment is less than 85 nm. At least 95% of the total particles of each of the green copper phthalocyanine pigment and the azo-coupled -ketoamide pigment have a particle diameter of less than 150 nm. The aqueous green inkjet ink compositions can be used in various inkjet printing methods.
HIGH WET FAST BRILLIANT BLUE DISPERSE DYE MIXTURES
The present invention is directed to high wet fast brilliant blue disperse dye mixtures comprising dye(s) of formula (I)
##STR00001##
and of formula (II)
##STR00002##
their production and their use for textile dyeing and printing.
MAGENTA INKS
The present disclosure is drawn to a dispersed magenta pigment blend, including a first pigment including Pigment Violet 19 and Pigment Red 122, or Pigment Red 282; and a second pigment including Pigment Red 150. The weight ratio of the first pigment to the second pigment can be from 50:50 to 80:20 by pigment solids content.
Anisotropic light absorption film and laminate
An object of the invention is to provide an anisotropic light absorption film having both a high alignment degree and high light resistance, and a laminate provided using the anisotropic light absorption film. An anisotropic light absorption film according to the embodiment of the invention is formed from a composition having a first dichroic azo dye, a second dichroic azo dye, and a compound represented by Formula (I) or a polymer thereof, the first dichroic azo dye has a solution absorption maximum wavelength of 400 nm or greater and less than 550 nm, the second dichroic azo dye has a solution absorption maximum wavelength of 550 nm or greater and 750 nm or less, and the film has an arrangement structure of the first dichroic azo dye or an arrangement structure of the second dichroic azo dye therein.
COLORING COMPOSITION, COLOR FILTER, PATTERN FORMING METHOD, SOLID-STATE IMAGING DEVICE, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE
Provided are a coloring composition capable of producing a film having fewer defects generated, and the like even in a case where the coloring composition is stored for a long period of time in an environment with variations in temperature, a color filter, a pattern forming method, a solid-state imaging device, and an image display device. The coloring composition includes a heterocycle-containing coloring agent such as a compound represented by Formula (1), a phthalimide compound, a solvent, and a resin. In Formula (1), R.sup.1 to R.sup.13 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent, and adjacent groups of R.sup.1 to R.sup.8 may be bonded to each other to form a ring, provided that at least one of the pairs of adjacent two groups of R.sup.1 to R.sup.8 is bonded to each other to form an aromatic ring.

Magenta inks
The present disclosure is drawn to a magenta pigment blend, a magenta ink, and a method of formulation a magenta pigment blend. The magenta pigment blend can be a first pigment including a solid solution of Pigment Violet 19 and Pigment Red 122, or Pigment Red 282; and a second pigment including Pigment Red 150. The weight ratio of the first pigment to the second pigment can be from 50:50 to 80:20 by pigment solids content.
Removable tattoo ink and the use thereof
Provided is a removable tattoo ink that is composed of colored micro-particles that create permanent tissue markings, such as tattoos. The micro-particles include an inner core housing a bio-absorbable chromophore and an outer shell, which includes polystyrene sulfonate and polyallylamine hydrochloride and is designed for rupture with ultrasonic energy. The micro-particles can be implanted in the tissue of a subject, for example to create a tattoo and ruptured in situ by the application of ultrasonic energy to remove the tattoo. Also provided are methods of making the colored micro-particles.
YELLOW AND MAGENTA DONOR FORMULATIONS FOR INCREASED RED VIVIDNESS
Yellow and magenta donor formulations that produce higher quality prints with fewer defects. The yellow and magenta formulas can be combined to form a red color representation with higher vividness and gamut.
Whitening agents for cellulosic substrates
The present application relates to novel whitening agents for cellulosic substrates. The whitening agents are comprised of at least two constituents: at least one chromophore constituent and at least one polymeric constituent. Suitable chromophore components generally fluoresce blue, red, violet, or purple color when exposed to light, or they may absorb light to reflect these same shades. This disclosure also relates to laundry care compositions including but not limited to liquid and/or powder laundry detergent formulations and rinse added fabric softening (RAFS) compositions that comprise such whitening agents.
